That said, the switch in moderation systems really broke it. You can never win an appeal now with how it is. When before winning appeal once you got it out of the grasp of the nonsensical moderator to the lead or admin was very doable because the moderator had to explain against you the moderation and their flimsy moderations generally never held up to the higher ups.

if you feel a moderation you got was unfair, you could post about it on hellhole. you'll get feedback from several users, possibly even some mods!

don't know about tony but i've always argued that red sox has generally made good posts - or at least posts i don't mind.

people who disagree with the left shouldn't feel unwelcome here and should even be encouraged to post here. i wouldn't want this topic to just be an echo chamber. but if you can't disagree with the left without constantly acting like a total dick, you can fuck right off.

the fact that red sox has rarely gotten modded while sephy has gotten modded a bunch of times is a sign that the moderation system on this site is working quite well, i'd say.

Far right circles have been pushing the idea that impeachment was the primary reason Trump could not focus on the coronavirus despite the fact that impeachment was over with back in January, leaving over a month of time between that and Trump doing anything about the virus.

So this is a move to push the narrative in that direction.

Because lots of people would assume that Trump doesn't look at models himself. Most presidents probably don't go too in depth on modeling. Why should they when they have experts advising them on what the models predict?

Billionaire businessmen probably like to understand the models they are using as a group, but Trump has built his image around making decisions on the fly using intuition. So he's reassuring the public that he understands how modeling works.

i think people are kind of overreacting about indie games supposedly being super strong now. hollow knight - tales of berseria was always a hard match. i picked berseria but hollow knight beating it wasn't that surprising (the entire contest analysis crew picked hollow knight!). bastion beating the walking dead was surprising, sure, but it didn't exactly win by a large amount. the fact that VVVVVV got beaten badly just makes me go "yeah, maybe hollow knight and bastion aren't actually indicating that there's a trend happening."
