The fact both American options are frail old guys, Tiny-Nipple-Pincher Biden and Grab-Em-By-The-Pussy Trump is depressing. Neither are fit for office. I might go so far as to say anybody over 60 shouldn't be in office. That'd cycle through people faster and get rid of the people whose actions have no consequences, since they'll die before the issues from their policies arise.

The grocery store workers shouldn't have to risk their lives for a paycheck. Government should step up and pay them.
So you don't want workers in grocery stores either. So how exactly is anybody getting any food now? Should we just have stores stocked at night time, open the doors at dawn, and let the games begin? You want stores shut, you want restaurants shut. Do you expect people to fucking photosynthesize?

That's without even getting into the disaster of the government 'stepping up' to paying every employee.

All businesses in the food industry should shut their doors until this is all over
And that would be the final time they shut their doors for the vast majority of them. Especially the mom and pop stores. Not to mention instead of some people going to pre-made food stores, now everyone is crowding in a grocery store for food. Leading to shortages and people in even closer proximity. Want everyone to get the food delivered? Cool. Now we are back to step one with delivery guys.

Do you people think anything through? Life can not just pause. This is a multiplayer game, not single player.

Not risk your life selling pizzas
The risk is quite low. This disease is very contagious, not very deadly. Most pizza guys are not in a significant risk group. The problem would be them transmitting to elderly who are. That said, what do you suggest they do instead of working? How will they pay for their own food, and living expenses? Many people don't have the luxury to just stop life. Some people don't live in basements still.
