| Jorep 02/14/20 7:59:10 PM #18 | Oh, man. I used to do deliveries for Shipt a few years back, and it was a slow but very noticeable decline. At one time it was a really lucrative side gig. I have a full time dayjob, but I'd take on Shipt deliveries every so often in the evening, and I would average around $20-30 a delivery, with each one taking an hour, give or take. At a certain point, and after reading the article probably around when those Target jobs started showing up, you saw a massive uptick in the amount of people doing Shipt shops (so probably that rapid onboarding) and a massive downward trend in the value of jobs. Ones that previously paid $25 for the delivery were now paying like, $10, and that wasn't even worth leaving the house. I eventually just stopped doing it and deleted the app. I didn't even know about that "Bring the Magic" nonsense.
