| KTG2 04/03/20 12:32:33 AM #8 | No way to know, but I went to Disney World for five days over New Years, got married, went on a five day cruise, then went back to Disney for five more days...I had what I figured was the flu (fever, chills, cough but with raspy breath/trouble breathing) for the entire cruise (started 6 days after I got off the plane in Orlando) and and was completely dead to the world for most of the end of the trip (about 10 days). Disney World was easily the largest and most diverse crowd I've ever been in. Everyone in our wedding party got the same bug too. I've seen several people on reddit describe the exact same symptoms who were at Disney at the same time. This is a totally open space for venting about the most petty shit you can imagine. Or real issues. That too. My wife told me to wait a week until I got paid so I wasn't dipping into savings to buy a switch and animal crossing. Fast forward to today, payday, and there isn't a switch or lite within 250 miles of my house I have worked 14 out of the last 16 days, 12 hour shifts screening patients and employees. I am not provided with PPE. I am a type 1 diabetic and spend 12 hours a day terrified I'm going to die My wife thinks it's hilarious that she's going to make more on unemployment than I do working and spends her days doing crafts while I slowly unravel I had tickets to go to Toronto and see the Reds play the Blue Jays at the beginning of this week for my birthday I turned 32 and didnt even get to go out, let alone to Canada for a cool trip My best friends uncle just died of covid and I can't seem to do anything to help or be there for them that makes a difference with the distance.
