I wouldn't call it overrated. People like it, acknowledge flaws and can talk about it without praising it blindly.

Something like Skyrim is overrated. It has been milked to death by the developers and people eat it right up.

DMC games in general are always flawed but like 80% solid fun.

I don't mind BotW but I have no desire to search for all the seeds or literally do everything.

I did all the shrines, story and memories. That's pretty much all significance content. I'll sum up some of my issues.

-Weapon degradation was just tedious. It didn't add to the game. As people pointed out, enemies drop the gear like candy anyways.

-Did I mention the enemy variety sucks? It does.

-Not as many ways to handle situations as people keep saying. You either bow them, bomb or flurry attack. The environmental interactions were very specific.

-Not much reason to explore other than to grind materials for equally pointless armor. They could have gave us endgame gear to work towards. Like if you slayed the beasts you unlock the option before the final boss.

-The game ultimately mimicked every other open world game vs being its' own.

On Crushing of course. Not gonna discuss the plot. Only played until like chapter 10 years ago.

I've been plugging a long today. Currently stopping at the fortress water room.

Pretty solid action game with random puzzle and exploration included. I haven't played games with QTE in a while. They're better off in GoW.

Fuck this water room. I understand what to do but there's just so little time to heal before a bullet from across the room kills you or you get flanked.

More trial and error later. I got by the other parts well enough. Seems like the best strategy is to turn the pistol into a sniper.

Thanks. The reason I am worried is because my vision sucks and so I am not sure if I can even do it myself, but with the virus situation anyone who would help me doesn't want to go anywhere. Those cables are tiny. Does anything even need screws other than the mobo? I am of course going to watch youtube vids and figure things out, but I haven't yet watched or read anything at all so don't know much about the process. My ssds are all m2 nvme ones and I am using 0 hdds on the build, so not a lot of SATA components.

Lots of console and pc games are poorly optimized. There's always extremes for both so a game not working well isn't really valid for either.

My argument is that next gen consoles will be cheaper. You spend $500 and your games should run pretty good.

To get similar results for a PC, especially if you want VR, that's roughly $800 unless you hunt around for parts.

Current gen? You can definitely get a good PC for $500 and have it run everything and then some.

Or get fed up with poorly made games.

$500 is a decent chunk. If they really didn't want to pay the full amount I think they should have offered some money rather than none.

Name some games you keep on playing. I understand stuff like Monster Hunter, MMO...stuff where you generally grind.

I don't understand people who play Elder Scrolls and Fallout games for 500+ hours and still find something new. Wtf are you doing?

Most single player stuff like that get exhausted of content by 100 hours or so. I just don't see what you can possibly miss after a few months of playtime.

Pasta, rice, beans, frozen vegetables, ground beef, eggs, cereal, milk, ramen. If I have some extra, some canned goods.

Only meats and dairy get bad here for price. I can stretch meals at about $23 a week. Meal plan if I'm simply left with $80 at the end.

Raw fruits/vegetables except for apple and a few others don't fill or last for the month unless I'm bulk cooking and really meal portioning.
