I could write at length about why I believe it can result in many good things for the worker. I'm very optimistic about it.

They are not the same thing. You could have an almost entirely normal life with social distancing. You just stay home if you're sick, keep some distance between strangers, follow proper hygiene. It's good practice, especially during cold/flu season.

A quarantine is a much much stricter version of that. To combat actual serious disease spreading.

Yes it will. It really depends on how long this goes on for, but we are getting there. People are going to want strong guarantees that this never happens again. And that will entail strong worker rights and protections.

Also, if young people are overwhelmingly supporting a candidate...we should consider supporting the opposite candidate. Young people are inexperienced and ignorant of how the world works. They don't know history and have barely even become conscious. Voting age should be raised too.

It's actually a bad thing if young voter turnout massively increases, because you're relying on children to make decisions that affect the future. They are overly susceptible to ideas that sound good on paper, like Marxism, but that are terrible and violent in real life.
