It's sad how people are so anti science, you have people hating scientists because they flip flop all the time so in their eyes scientists aren't trustworthy. But that's how science basically works lol, when presented with a problem you don't know how to solve then you give out your best guesses on how to fix it. When you get more information you basically use that information to adjust your guesses accordingly

but too many people think that it's okay to never adjust, even after getting the new info that might clash with your viewpoints. it's better to let the problem grow than to possibly admit that you were wrong

This always been a weird question to me, because where I live people constantly drop the n word every other sentence. It's so normalized around here, no one bats an eye if any person of color says it. Like you can have an asian friend say to their black friend something along the lines of "Man get out of here you corny ass n-word" after his friend says a joke (like out of context this is pretty much seen as offensive and hateful) and they both just laugh and converse like nothing happened. Granted it's almost always the younger folks who act this way (like 30ish years or younger), the word is alot more problematic for older folks (though lately it seems like they are starting to accept the nword being used casually as well) so we should have the word slowly fazed out tbh

Though tbh the more I think about it the more it feels like it's you can be any skin color and say it and have the younger group be cool with you... as long as you're part of the hood. Like you can't be any white, asian, hispanic or even black person and say it. You have to have a certain hood aura around you (lol... does that even make sense for anyone reading this?) for you to have the "right" to say it. Idk, that's how I see it around here, like obviously this doesn't apply to many other places but this is what i basically observed around here
