| PumptheBrakes 06/16/20 4:02:15 AM #5 | I'm going through Star Trek: The Next Generation again at the moment and I like the balance that it struck between the "old" and "modern" differences you mentioned. The show was mostly a monster-of-the-week show, but with frequent call-backs and occasional two-part mini-arcs. Picard was the focus, but each side character would get their own exclusive episode from time to time. I think modern shows tend to be over-serialized (as in stretching the story over so many episodes that it feels bloated or loses focus). --- Everybody calm down... Let's be civil. |

Libertarians tend to also want limited government, limited regulation; overall less, but not quite to anarchy. A majority of males socialize with drinks, so drinking would help you fit in to a lot of situations, but is not required. Smoking (cigarettes) has mostly fallen out of favor where I'm from in the U.S. and smoking marijuana would help you socialize with people who also smoke, but once again it is not required. Find people with common interests and go at it. Quit complaining. --- Everybody calm down... Let's be civil. |
