Don't underestimate the power of corn syrup, seriously. It does work some demon magic in baking. People dump on it because it's used for sodas and makes it taste different, but you can pull off some baking textures with it that you couldn't do with sugar.

I don't like crunchy.
I recommend experimenting replacing your white sugar with brown sugar and corn syrup, and using bread flour and cake flour as a mix.

i thought that too, that the numbers are all that matters, so i was reluctant to start IF, but the results speak for themselves really
Weird, I didn't do IF, but I just counted calories and exercises and I shed pounds like crazy. In fact I reached a point that all I did was just exercise more intentionally so I could eat more. I'd burn 2000 calories in a workout after running for 3 hours? It'd mean I could eat 1500+2000 calories and still lose weight. Granted when I did try to pig out I could only manage 2500 at most maybe 3000 if I was super starved. Went from 250 to 150 easily just following that logic. If I didn't exercise I'd only eat 1500 and that felt shitty, sometimes overeat to 2000-2500 because overall I'd make up for it by burning plenty of calories the next day. Lost weight pretty fast, every 2-3 weeks I'd go down another belt notch.

At no point did I really feel like I changed my diet, just kept track of what I was eating using myfitnesspal to see if I had to exercise more. Helps if you actually like exercising though. Reached a point now where I don't care about weight loss, I just want to get faster at running and cycling.

1200-1300 calories
I mean can't you just eat 1200-1300 calories anyway without IF, you would've lost the weight anyway if you were doing calories like that. I don't think fasting would make a difference, especially if you're exercising.

How much do you weigh?

It's great that you lost 50 pounds but I don't think it's the IF that did it, it's your calorie counting that did it in my eyes. If you have the restraint to eat only 1300 calories a day, IF feels pointless.

That first one has too god damn much sauce, not to mention most of it will be off the burger by the time you bite, making most if it useless. The second burger the cheese is already being squeezed out from inbetween the patties. I try to make fancy burgers but I usually notice most of the toppings I add to it fall off, so you end up having to scoop with the burger to get the toppings back on it somewhat.

I see pictures like OP and the second one and I get disappointed, I guess maybe use bigger burgers or better toppings or something. I think the only places that get it right are Red Robin and Five Guys. And five guys is barely pushing it because by the time you get halfway through the burger I guarantee you're not getting all the toppings you see.

Second burger looks like it'll be fine, but the cheese is gonna suffer. In general I think liquid type toppings just get smooshed out when you try to take a full bite top to bottom of a burger, rendering it pointless.

Yeah, the harem made me question how people say it was so good with women...

? Really?

I'm up to book #whatever after Path of Daggers, Winter's Heart? Hadn't started it yet, and there's TONS of shit that's crazy for women and gender stereotypes.

Speaking of being good with women, we got the weirdest relationship of Faile and Perrin where Faile is purposefully wanting Perrin to yell at her and become violent with her because a "woman should know her place with a strong man" but she also wants to be in a position of power and know she can influence him and all this without him knowing or being communicated to him while he can sniff out emotions and sees that she's pleased when he yells at her. WHAT THE HELL KIND OF RELATIONSHIP IS THIS. The poor dog (lul get it because he's a wolf?) is confused if you give him a treat every time you hit them.

Then we got playboy Matt getting raped by Queen Tylin at knife point which got turned into a straight up joke (Matt was legit traumatized but also kind of karma for all the womanizing antics? But I don't think he ever forced himself on a woman at knife point) in this weird knife culture where women really value men dueling at knife points, and then women mark their men with knives and mark how many kids they have with gems that are colored if they passed away or through dueling or if they got disowned. This whole section between them had me REALLY disturbed and is probably the best representation of the reverse of what men do to women. If you think that shit is creepy imagine having it done to you with a woman of higher ranking and power doing it to you and forcing herself on you. I liked it, I liked it for the meaning not for what was actually being done, it's a good lesson to see and make people understand.

We got the forced bonding of Rand by Alanna which is supposedly worse than a man forcing himself on a woman.

We got these female lead societies seemingly in Aiel and Aes Sedai and Andor to "empower the womens", but then proceeds to make them stereotypically female in cleaning and roof mistresses and fumbling over men. And you'd probably think older women don't fall prey to this nonsense but women of all ages do from young to old, fucking crazy. Aes sedai keep a calm face but they be fickle womens in the book. Fighting over which warder they get to have if they pass away and taming them after they go berserk? Really? It's really stupid when you have a strong woman lead and then all of a sudden she turns into an emotional puddle around a man she likes and then the author points out that women shouldn't be doing this with another character and she chastises the emotional puddle, then the woman who does the chastising turns into an emotional puddle thinking about the man she fawns over. DA FUCK. It's like a fake out there and fucked up.

Not to mention this weird power dynamic amongst aes sedai where if you're stronger than another they automatically become submissive to your commands or some weird shit, da hell?

The only characters that don't seem to fall prey to these women stereotypes are Moiraine and she's dead as far as I know, Cadsuane the badass granny, and...Birgitte. The last one being in a confusing place that loves exploiting her feminine charms but ain't afraid to act like a guy and is a badass with a bow.

AND THAT REMINDS ME OF ANOTHER FUCKING FEMALE CHARACTER.

MIN, she's one of the ones who ABSOLUTELY falls into the female stereotype trope, who just throws away her boyish looks in order to seduce Rand, and she fucking criticizes herself mentally constantly for doing this, how she'd never do this for a guy, that girls shouldn't do this for guys and she goes and fucking does it like he's an exception further perpetuating these sexist stereotypes that women go fluff in the head for men, every single female leads falls prey to this bullshit, egwene, nynaeve, elayne, min, and Aviendha (even through Aiel customs she's blatantly frustrated over a man and feels in debt after having that winter time sex). How a woman shouldn't be waiting for a man to please him, and there she is literally waiting at his beck and call in a castle waiting for him.

Egwene abusing her dream powers to have dream sex in Gawyn's dreams. Imagine a guy doing that today, they'd be fucked by metoo so fucking fast it wouldn't be funny.

It's hilarious how it's all about empowering women and then just fucking making them fall flat on their face with the stupidest sexist stereotypes.

Hopefully I'm not spoiling anything, I just wanted to leave the relevant parts intact while hiding who did what.

Oh I still enjoy reading the books and I'm hyped for the series to come out, I really want to see how they do channeling, there was so much channeling at the end of the first book, I wonder how they'll CG all of it in. I had some spectacular imagery in my head as I read through it.

Yeah why would anyone want to run if they could ride their bike LOL. Different stroke for different folks I guess. This is, by far, the most consistent Ive ever been in exercising and I think its because Im not forcing myself to do something I hate.
I got into running because I used to do cycling 60 miles daily and I've been in car accidents 3 times and had too many close calls. Drivers are not very friendly to cyclists, even law abiding cyclists that do hand signals. The most fun a driver has is to see how close they can get to a cyclist riding on a shoulder to scare them and to throw trash at them while riding. Also, riding that long and hard puts you pretty far from home, at least when I run the furthest I can possibly get away for the longest run is 13 miles at worst, for a marathon distance total of 26 miles. For a Century on a bike it's 50 miles, for a total of 100 miles. Makes a big difference, getting hit on your bike 50 miles out in the boonies and emergency services or family has to get you? At a minimum takes them 1 hour of driving to get to you. I feel much safer running than cycling.

Of course not to scare you off, I loved cycling and still do it, just indoors, but man do I miss cycling outside and going far. Sadly where I live I have no long distance bike paths, I have to take roads to do so. The best bike paths I have near me are...5 miles total and I already did the 5 mile route 10 times, you get bored fast.

https://college.harvard.edu/guides/financial-aid-fact-sheet
  • "20% of Harvard parents have total incomes less than $65,000 and are not expected to contribute.
  • Families with incomes between $65,000 and $150,000 will contribute from 0-10% of their income, and those with incomes above $150,000 will be asked to pay proportionately more than 10%, based on their individual circumstances."

At my local grocery store there's a pretty big selection from krafts, hunt's, heinz, sweet baby rays, sticky finger (GARBAGE SAUCE), rufus teague, bone suckin sauce, uhh and a bunch of others I can't recall, but at least 15+ brands for sure, with each brand having like 2-5 different flavors. Hell I got like 5 different flavors of the 18 ounce for 5 for 5 which I thought was a deal. The prices may not be fair but there is certainly variety.
