Old job was the sole IT for a small mortgage company. Mostly "this won't print" or "figure out why the borrower can't sign docs". So maybe 10 easy problems like that per day and then video games the rest of the time.

New job is as a junior programmer. Friend is high up in the company and recommended me. I'm lucky to get it with next to no real experience.

I had that job for 8 years. Easy as fuck snooze fest. It was nice for times like when my dad was sick and died. Just switch off the brain and let it ride. Switched to a real boy job 2 weeks ago and OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD but it's paying more and I'm sure I'll get used to actually working eventually.

About Harlan's knife line, I don't remember him specifically mentioning Ransom and I figured the knife he used to kill himself was a prop because Marta wouldn't know the difference and he faked his death to see how everything played out but that didn't turn out to be the case. Still very good though.

A cool moment for Trek where they figure out how to break Warp 10, a scary monster conversion a-la The Fly, continuing the Jonas sub-plot, and starting the "Paris isn't happy here" sub plot. I think they just wrote themselves into a corner because they needed a fix for everyone and just picked a really really bad one.

Over the last 3 days. I saw the second one first way back in the day so it's my favorite. They're all pretty passable as far as low budget goofy monster movies go.

Imagine being the guy that made a 25 year career out of being the wacky gun nut in some giant snake monster movies.
