For those calling if a political stance:

Saying "black lives matter" is not a political statement. It is declaration of reality. It happens to stand in definiance of systemic racism which can make it feel political, but someone saying BLM is not meant to be about politics, its literally "stop treating black (Americans) as second and third rate citizens".

There is nothing political about that and if your gut reaction to such a thing is "well now, let's not get political here..." it does not reflect well on your core worldview. It is time for society to change and people continuously sweeping these issues under the rug are what has led to protests and riots. Yes it should be in the work place because it needs to be forced into the brain of every person that BLM and if you can't accept that you don't deserve to be part of this society.

My wife and I considered a few southern states as when we were trying to figure out where we might live when we got married. Ultimately we decided to stay where we grew up.

In glad I'm not in the south, but what reasoning is being given for these kinds of decisions? Its obviously nonsense but they have to be saying something about why they are making decisions completely against all medical advice.

I did get a baneslayer, showcase scooze, Basri, and Azusa as my notables. Best thing I can really do is hold onto them and hope they appreciate a little when 2021 goes out of print or someone finds a way to bust them...

It was a regular box. Collectors boosters are way too pricey. I might grab one if I see it but not a box.

My box had a foil full art grim tutor as the main item of interest.

Others were a regular grim tutor, an azusa, 5 solemn simulacrums(one foil, all regular art though), three of the white planes walker (lame)... and thats about it.

I wish it were possible to know the real number of total cases. Testing only gets us so far. Non symptomatic people who never get tested have to skew the numbers quite a bit.

We got an extra $4 an hour for 6 weeks and then the company ran out of money so im back to my regular rate. Im so far behind on my responsibilities because of all the changes going on lately and it stinks.

I work in a supervision based field that doesn't allow for breaks. I can eat whenever I feel like it but I'm on the clock and if something comes up I need to be ready to step in immediately. About twice a month I dont have a chance to eat and about once every 6 weeks things are so bad that I need to hold my bladder for the entire day. When the shutdown started they had us working 12 hrs and when I couldn't use the bathroom some days it was torture.

i can't imagine feeling "proud" of this joke of a country

I've never felt this way before the last 4 months or so. This whole year has made me feel pretty bitter. I wish leaving the US were an option. Any other first world country sounds better. So much selfishness. So much hate. Why can't we just treat each other well?

For the first time ever I feel like I should join in a protest. Blatant treason by those leading out country makes me feel sick. I'm finding some of the rioting that's been happening to feel justified.

For a lot of things in the microwave, you're better off overheating it and letting it cool a little. If you only heat it up to the preferred temp the taste is often a little off and you get more random cold spots. This doesn't work if its something really dry though.

I live in NY. Only about 40% of people wear masks and only about 60% of those wear them correctly in my area. Them being required means nothing if there is no consequence to disobeying the order. Stores are scared to enforce it because of crazies.

Hail happens in upstate new york every 5-10 years. So I don't see why the city wouldn't get hit now and then.

I live in upstate NY and we het it like 3-4 times a year. Often during thunderstorms.

I got a game refunded. Grandia collection or whatever. A large portion if people could not get sound from the game, and I was one of them I guess. It seemed to work otherwise but I'm not paying full price for a game that doesnt work as intended.

Pretty shocking after Kentucky closed down all those polling locations

I dont understand why closing down polling stations is even a thing. Maybe if a station had less than 3% turnout based on registered voters, but the government shouldn't have the authority to close stations.

I know its weird but I was able to get every mini game but the butterfly one. There was a last one I could never find. I remember my boyfriend in high school got it for me lol. I did lightning dodge for him.

I couldn't do it as a kid because my eyes are terrible with colors, but following a video guide I got it on the first try. The placement is the same every time or something like that.

Chose H. I know a very very small amount of asl, but otherwise it would make my life very difficult. Hearing is probably my best sense and it would be really hard to get by with my terrible vision.

Persona 4 golden. Id get persona 6 definitely, but a direct sequel to 4, im too early to tell for sure. Just finished the first month basically.

Yeah this kind of thing confuses me. For me and my wife, our lives almost revolve around making sure our dog is safe and getting the attention he needs. (Almost, were not crazy. But we are constantly mindful of things like not being out too long).

We just cut rent out of our usual bills which was about 2/3 of our expenses before. So maybe a year if we were smart with no income. The plan is to save a lot over the next few years and have a substantial down payment for a house.
