It's Joss Whedon's crowning achievement. He's never done anything worthwhile before or since.

It's simply a way of tagging a topic and following it without posting tag. I know you're unaware how discussions work but when someone states they haven't done, seen or played something they normally are open to been enlightened. Crazy I know!

This was a partly sarcastic post to educate a no name poster because I'm a nice guy.
Lol, I was also being facetious.

You can also just click "Track topic" if all you want was to see where the discussion goes.

But nothing wrong with bumping s thread so more people see it I guess.

On the topic of Tales games, I personally like to start from the beginning of any series and play forward from there. When I looked into Tales I was disappointed to find out localization and port forwarding is very spotty. Im aware that none of the games directly connect to eachother, but I'm also interested in the evolution of mechanics as much as I am in stories.

The inaccessibility of the entire Tales catalog means I'm probably going to prioritize Suikoden, Star Ocean, or Persona before I get around to finally diving into it.

I've never played a tales game.
I've never posted in a thread to simply state that I can't contribute.

Nevertheless, I can't contribute to this thread because I have also never played a Tales game.

But my record still stands because this post was also to hypocritically call out another poster while maintaining my usual pretentious and self-righteous demeanor.

Not true, but humans will be long gone at that point. In a few billion years the sun will consume the earth
Ah but how do you define "world"? Based on the actual definition of the word it can't just mean the planet Earth, or planets, otherwise we would have no need for a separate word to describe that concept.

"World" was used when European countries first started arriving in the Americas, where they referred to it as "a new world."

And world is often used to describe a specific perception or culturally accepted way of thinking, even spanning smaller bodies of individuals like a family, or even just a homeless guy shouting "welcome to my world!" at some rich bourgeois dude who missed the bus.

Therefore of someone says "it's the end of the world" it's appropriate to respond with "Really? Which one?"

...that he instituted a mandatory monthly news session where government journalists would gather people together on an interactive web cast and tell people what the current events are.

You were allowed to miss one session per quarter, but non compliance removed your right to vote until you caught up with sessions you missed.

The "interactive" part of the live webcast were quiz questions to make sure you were paying attention. If you failed a session you'd have to attend a makeup session or it counted as one of your quarterly misses.
