Take Tower Knight for example, in the original he is imposing. He stands out as this big dark figure in stark contrast to the bright sky, he is THE big motherfucker and you know it. In the new one, hes lost among the detail

based on those thumbnails the ps3 version is harder to see, the remake is a lot clearer

Im sure the gameplay will be fine, but Demons Souls isnt JUST gameplay, its atmosphere, its tone, its the whole package. And its a shame that theyre doing this to the only version that will be fully playable and will reach the widest audience, because its a bit of a spit in the face to the original, just as SotC was.

I have faith in them to competently facsimile the gameplay, but its obvious from footage that theyre making the exact same mistake they did with the SotC remake and butchering the art direction for the sake of wow pretty
