Yeah, rerolling in Crestoria was rough due to that download. I did finally manage to get a team of 4 SSRs though from the initial free resources. I'll likely start saving now for upcoming banners. I'm hoping for Leon or Velvet from the SSR ticket you get from the challenge missions.

Tales of Crestoria is available for pre-download. They haven't announced when the servers will be up but I expect they'll be up by the end of the week. It's hard for me to believe that they'll keep it in maintenance until the 22nd.

It's kinda funny because I was on r/gachagaming and someone was asking about Sinoalice and Romancing SaGa and which one should be their main. Some dude said Sino should be their main and SaGa their sidepiece and peeps were actually upvoting him. Oh how the turn tables

Also kind of funny how both Sinoalice and Romancing SaGa are Square Enix games but are pretty much polar opposites

Romancing is so much better as long as you don't mind the grind.

Thanks for the heads up. I decided to give it another try and now is a great time to start. I had to reroll about 6 times but the 9k+ you get as a new player makes it pretty painless. I ended up getting some great 3*s that far exceeds the account I made previously.

On a side, SINoALICE is available for pre-download. The servers should be up in 4-5 hours.

Hero Cantare looks pretty cool, though I only read Tower of God. Game format in general reminds me a lot of Epic 7 tbh and I am deeply traumatized by that game.

I see a lot of people compare it to Epic 7, but I don't really see it, aside from maybe the Advent Bosses that you fight for better gear. I feel like Epic 7 is waaaay more grindy and takes a while to feel like your units are progressing. It's also stingier on the currency and has worse rates than Hero Cantare.

Friendly reminder to check out Hero Cantare if you haven't already. The game is really generous when it comes to in game currency and resources, which seems like a rarity these days. It's also very easy to reroll and get a strong start (free multi and selective summon).

I'm curious as well. The game is fine at the moment but the current gameplay loop will get stale after so long if there aren't events. I'd be surprised if there aren't any though considering the majority of gachas have them.

Decided to give Battle Divas a go after all. I liked what I played, but quit after the 20 are rolls. I gather weapons are really rare in that initial roll? I didnt get any in the 20. I know Id get the characters eventually, but it just turned me off.

Not that I noticed. Pretty sure I was getting a 5* weapon nearly every roll. I pushed towards the 20 mark so that I could get a weapon and two 5* accessories.

Liking Battle Divas so far, find it a bit weird though that among all the waifus, there's random ninja guy. I guess they felt the need to include a playable semi-silent protagonist-kun?

Anyway, true enough, seems all characters can be unlocked by progressing through the story (and one via a series of challenges), though you'll have a chance to unlock one of them early (with a free legendary weapon) via a 20 reroll box. I'm not sure *all* of them are available, but then I only saw a few of them before I started to run out and had to settle for whoever showed up next (slooty nun with a giant pink scythe is one hell of a consolation prize though).

Keep in mind that *not* every reroll includes a character, so be very careful of holding out too long otherwise you'll miss out on a early freebie. At the same time though, you lose nothing permanently (character or weapon) if you end up with nobody extra at all.

I'm enjoying it as well. I went with Celeste (slutty nun, lol) because apparently she's good and I'm a sucker for scythes. Also got two other 5* pieces with it.

A new IP that has cute mecha girls and the game description is touting "All heroes can be obtained through gameplay progression. No character gacha, no character shards!" as a major selling point. Based on the mention of a "deep equipment system" including "hero-specific and set items", the weapons to strengthen the characters will probably be the main gacha component of the game. Maybe they'll go the route where pulling a character's special weapon also instantly unlocks the character for you even if you haven't unlocked them through the normal gameplay method yet, so that way whales can still spend to get their favorite characters even faster than just through normal gameplay.

I just preregistered for it (along with Tales Of Crestoria) and it's launching globally in four days. Anyone else might be interested in this one?

I'm going to try it out. I tried downloading the CBT today but I get a black screen upon startup.

I did get to try out the Goddess of Genesis CBT though today. That one came out of nowhere and is now on my radar.

I played it a little bit today. The game feels pretty generic gameplay wise and the graphics seem a bit blurry for some reason. With that said, there's nothing particularly bad about it, but it's certainly not pushing the gacha envelope. I'm still looking forward to the full release.

Last Cloudia 1st Anniversary is going on currently. I quit the game sometime last year during the Secret of Mana event. Decided to redownload it today to see what changed and so far it's surprisingly good.

The biggest thing so far was the infinite reroll for the intro gacha. I wasted so much time rerolling originally so this was an absolute Godsend. You also get 3k gems and a free daily multi on the anniversary banner. I think I'll stick around for a bit, at least until this new Dr. Stone collab arrives.

Temporarily yes, but as soon as the fabric becomes saturated with moisture from your own breath or the environment they basically lose their use. The moisture allows pathogens to cross the barrier and enter your mucous membranes. So for grocery store runs or something it will provide you protection from anything short of a straight on cough or sneeze into your face, but for like an entire work day, especially working with people that are actively infected, it won't work.

Good to know. I'd be using it mostly for grocery runs. I'd look for one that has a nose pinch unlike what's pictured.

So in my town in the STL Metro East the manager of one of the town's grocery stores started showing symptoms of the virus. Idiot worked a couple days before developing a fever and FINALLY self isolated. He's in the same boat as my wife and I though and not sick enough for IL to give a damn about and test, but him working while showing symptoms probably infected a fuckton of people.
