That's a bengal alright. I used to have one (my ex has him since we split). They're fun and adorable to play with, but they're very energetic, vocal, and honestly very much a handful.

Perhaps that would even be for the best.
Sexual abuse allegations might be true (there are a lot of assholish pervs out there who don't know how to take 'no' for an answer) just as well as they might not be true (especially in Murrica, where you can get a nice fat compensation and 15 minutes of fame out of it)

Even if such allegations are true though, the abuser should definitely be prosecuted for it, but I still don't see the point of 'cancelling' the guilty party. That's not gonna help in preventing more sexual abuse, and it has nothing to do with what they already have accomplished professionally.

Not sure if Avellone's guilty or not. Regardless, I still love the shit out of many games he has helped develop, and I will continue to do so.

Although he has been kind of dickish lately, his pros still outweigh his cons. There are plenty of rich business pricks out there who don't do shit to make improvements or innovations. Many even actively invest in making the world a worse place to live, for the sole purpose of enriching themselves.

While one can speculate Elon enjoys being rich, he has made impressive contributions to society over the past few decades, and still attempts to continue to do so. Unjustly calling someone a pedo and being dismissive of the corona crisis does make him come off as ignorant about these things, but imo it does not undo nor outweigh his other deeds.
