Hopefully it won't happen!

If the screen plays up, replace it right away.

iPad Pros (especially the twelve inch models) are plagued with screen freeze issues that Apple has vehemently denied existing.
Everyone who I've met irl with an iPad Pro 12 inch model also suffers from these issues, as do I.

The apple pencil however works even on segments of the screen that are playing up (and the screen can be briefly fixed by turning the screen off/on quickly), so if you only use the pencil and/or trackpad that should negate these issues.

Cost? Not knowing how poor it sounds? Not turning on their actual microphone? Not caring as long as it is understandable that's good enough for them? Not tech savvy enough (or too afraid of messing things up) to mess with things?

Lots of reasons why people might prefer just using default.
Unless it is for production of things it doesn't really matter anyway.

America celebrating July the 4th isn't saying other countries don't matter. Just like France celebrating the 14th of July (Bastille Day) isn't saying other places don't matter.

Both these days are about celebrating independence, freedom and all that jazz.

I'd have thought a scythe, which is suggestive of death/grim reaper, would be more frightening/violent than a gun, which often in cartoons is able to backfire in creative ways.

The state premier (I believe that's the Australian equivalent? Like, in charge of state) here is doing amazing. Lots of people bashed his tactics as being over-the-top but it has definitely worked in my view. Basically, the national cabinet suggested minimum restrictions and states could go higher if they wanted to. He wanted to.

Australia as a whole got 8 new cases overnight, (we're around 6.6k total confirmed), and Victoria is the 2nd highest state here.

Restrictions might start being eased four+ weeks away.

I have that feeling so often.
I'll be so hungry, start eating... and then feel so full I can't keep eating but am still hungry.

That and other reasons are probably why I'm severely underweight. I've been aiming to get better with it being still forcing myself to eat more but that often leads to feeling crook.

Maybe this is some indirect way of referencing AGDQ? Which in the past has raised enormous sums of money for Doctors Without Borders (an international medical humanitarian organisation).

That, and also suggesting younger people are able to think differently and come to possibly unthought of conclusions/workarounds to problems.

Sister had an important appointment in Melbourne (quite a few hours drive, luckily we diverted around toll roads). This was arranged back in December. Very busy guy.

When we turned up there around 11am, we waited around half an hour before they told us the person wasn't allowed in because he 'had flulike symptoms and a cough', which was whispered to us. So then we paid for the parking, drove home and essentially had our time and fuel wasted. Roughly six hours driving in total.

The person rang my mother up the next day to arrange things, and told us he only had 'a sniffling' (I presume runny nose?) and due to the Coronavirus concerns wasn't allowed to work. He told them Monday, which meant they had the means to tell us before we drove there Tuesday. (And they were aware we were driving from far away)

So whilst this is very, very minor compared to more serious 'experiences' it is still something.
Also panic buying in this small town is annoying. << Why do people think they need to stockpile all of a sudden.

16. Household of four + decent drive from stores. The only ones left were ten packs so we aren't like, meaning to stockpile. Ten bought today, the other six already were here prior to the panic buying hitting this town.

It is almost like the bloke pronouncing the name of the month in this fashion is skipping over like three consecutive letters of the word, see.

Honestly, Febree is how I hear the majority of people around here (Australia) say it. Just like with days being Sundee, Mondee, Fridee, Wensdee, etc.

I however, say it Feb-yoo-rare-ree
February... hmm... where am I getting that second r sound? O.o
