Absolutely. It's not for your protection, it's for MY protection. Because whose to say if you're asymptomatic but may have a coughing fit in close proximity to me. Without a mask you'll be spraying droplets all over the place if you don't properly cover your cough (and some people never even try to it seems).

Anyway if we're talking about water I definitely wouldn't mind drinking more of it if it tasted OK. But city water is shit, especially around here. There used to be outbreaks of giardiasis here when I was a kid. Their response? Chlorinate the water so much that it tasted like you were diving headfirst into a freshly chlorinated pool when you went to drink a glass of it.

As long as these stores are still doing their sales/sale pricing, there's NO delivery charge(s) and I won't get delivered stuff like bananas and other items that may perish sooner than later that are beyond over ripe already. Because for stuff like that I'd rather go pick my own so I can pick the ones that have yet to ripen so I at least have some time to use them.

I have always wondered why it seems like no one has created a shower/toilet hybrid. It would save some time for sure. You could have a 'seat' at the back like a toilet where you sit down and do your 'business', then you just gotta 'flush' it and stand back up take your shower.

The grocery store has restocked with toilet paper. The bad news, $2.99 for the skimpy little 4-pack you could usually get for 79. If you're desperate, I guess 75 a roll isn't all that bad. Oh, not profiteering, it's a premium brand, not the usual generic store brand.

I got two 4 packs from Dollar Tree (last two in the box though) about two weeks ago while everybody was busy running to Walmart and wherever else looking for toilet paper.

Eggs, at least the cheapo brand can probably fit in here.

Local/regional grocery chain here went from advertising large eggs for .99 a dozen in their ad and bumped them up to 2/$5. They already sell them for $1.39-1.79 on "sale" most weeks and I really wait for the under a buck pricing cuz to me over a buck for eggs is absurd.

The one local/regional grocery store chain has a 5/$19.95 deal on hamburger, packs of chicken breast (2 to a pack), various pork and other beef cuts and packages of 'junk' foods like hot dogs. So I think I could make it for the month even if I just had to pick from those choices.

I've never seen movies on clearance at my Big Lots. They're always $3-$5. But I do get stuff from Dollar Tree pretty often. I recently got The Mummy trilogy, and several episodes of Digimon Adventure Tri.

They just had them mixed in with the regular priced ones at the Big Lots I've been to. But so far I've picked up the Robocop remake on Blu-Ray for UNDER $1 among other Blu-Rays and DVD's that were less than the $3-5 "MSRP" for the store. Best part is most of them came with the codes for the digital version that redeemed to Movies Anywhere.

Yes. Though I probably shouldn't as I have watched maybe 1/5 of my actual collection and never seem to get that urge to want to watch them.

Though between Big Lots clearance (movies for $1 or LESS on Blu-Ray or DVD) and even now Dollar Tree getting them (picked up Hang 'Em High and the OJ Simpson doc from ESPN there the other day) I've added two more places besides thrift stores to pick them up at.

Plus I've been getting lucky with the DVD and Blu-Ray copies from all three sources and getting working digital codes. So for $1-2 or so apiece it's not that bad to add them to a backlog. If I were paying full price though? Fuck that. Only movies I've picked up in the past 10 years for full price are the Deadpool movies and maybe 1-2 more.

I honestly have no idea how that show even stayed on the air and share similar sentiments in regards to Modern Family and The Office.

All three are one note bore fests to me. Give me MWC any day of the week and I'll have some laughs. Those three? Eh. I got ONE chuckle out of Modern Family in the 3-5 times I tried watching it and the ONLY redeeming part of The Office for me was watching to see the local references as I'm from the area the U.S. version was based around. But even that got old....fast.

Turns out it's a remake of it and it appears to be a 3-D'ish type title. But sadly it's also one that only ever released in Europe and Japan and NOT the U.S.

I drink the stuff, I live it up. I fill two 32oz bottles with tap and fridge it, alternate drinking them like 4 times a day at least.

When we refrigerate outs it's not that bad. I don't know if it's that letting it sit gives the garbage that normally makes it taste crappy a chance to settle to the bottom or what. But it definitely does help.

When I was a kid they treated our water with enough chlorine that you could SMELL it before you drank it. It's not like that now but it's definitely still crap compared to spring water.

Although one thing that always amused me when I thought about it is where animals in the 'country' go to the bathroom (on the ground) and that at least some portion of those fluids likely end up in that 'all natural' water that people praise so much.

Absolutely. Between the Aladdin's Castle that was right next door to the General Cinema at our one longtime mall here when I was a kid to the arcade and pool hall I hung out at on weekends with a buddy or two during high school and even visiting them when I was out of town for vacations or day trips (Aladdin's Castle right on the boardwalk in Atlantic City, the big arcade on Ocean One on the boardwalk in Atlantic City).

Heck. I even spent time in the game room at the one hotel during a family vacation to Williamsburg, VA in the late 80's to play Karate Champ.

But once arcades started popping up where it was like a $1 a play I began to lose interest. The one place around here just opened up as an arcade with bar food at ridiculous prices, but at least the games are .25 a play. It's in the same block from where I went as a teenager to the arcade/pool hall, just on the opposite side of the street. I've been meaning to check it out.

The brown recluse should. It's bite can cause a wound that won't heal and necrosis (tissue death) around said wound. One of my parents got bitten by one of these in 1992 and was in the hospital for 2-3 months. Their legs are STILL scarred from it to this day.

Option 1: Go out there when you see her parked in the driveway and let ALL the air out of one tire (to start). Just let it out. Don't damage the tire. Just stick something in the stem to let it all come out.

Option 2: Park your vehicle (and/or another one from a friend) ACROSS your driveway to block her from parking in it.

Option 3: Arson (Just kidding....or am I?)

We have the same kind thing going on in this neighborhood. The one family that parks in the alley behind their house has probably 6 cars and only space for 4 or 5. So they've taken to using a spot that a relative dug out for their apartment building that their tenants usually used. This is also why I've kept my back lot completely overgrown, complete with decent sized trees already springing up. It also helps that I recently found out that I actually do NOT own that portion of the lot. So the joke's on the city if they try doing the whole blight bullshit again this year telling me I HAVE to clean it.

Anyway we got new neighbors on one side of us recently. They have been using part of my driveway and sidewalk to drive right up in front of the house (think they're renting). Not only that but they put out a trash can full of LOOSE trash (including cigarette butts) last weekend. Guess who had to shovel up and throw out THEIR garbage? It all went across the street or in the road as I REFUSE to pick their shit up.

So yeah, I feel you TC. That's why I think tomorrow I'm going to city hall and finding out what it takes to put in a No Parking Driveway sign and a No Parking Between Signs sign on the other end of the frontage of my property cuz the gypsy commune down the block uses our curb as a loading and unloading zone for their big van sometimes too.

That's what most GTA Online heist players I played with thought. They would follow the yellow marked route even if it meant they failed and had to restart the whole thing all over again. Meanwhile I go up over the mountains and take shortcuts every which way and make it to the final checkpoint, where I stand there waiting until I see "XYZABC123 has died", followed by however many other players who were following them doing the same because the cops took them out.

The Abandon Ship mission in Just Cause 3 comes to mind for me. Trying to defend Mario while effectively using the EMP to take out some electronic capabilities of some enemies while also defending the EMP device got old.....fast.

Either Mario just stands there getting mowed down by gunfire and by the time I get done babysitting him the EMP has taken quite a few direct hits to where it's almost destroyed. It was just beyond frustrating, to say the least. I eventually got by the mission but not before quite a bit of swearing and almost throwing my controller a few times.

Last mission that got me this frustrated was the church/base defense mission in Mercenaries 2.

With all the side effects some of these medications have, including some that are potentially worse than the condition they treat (bone issues for the one antacid pill I take), I would say so.

Even if I had to resort to chugging Pepto-Bismol for years and years versus taking this one pill (pantoprazole) I'd do that in a heartbeat versus getting hip and wrist issues like all the info sheets say I could get.
