Overall it was pretty good, though I preferred Yakuza 0. The bosses were a pain in the ass in this one, though. Looking forward to the rest of the series!

Played this to prepare for CotM 2, which is the GotM for January. It was okay, I guess. I much preferred Ritual of the Night, though.

Fable 2 (Xbox One | Gamepass)

Been playing this off and on and woo-wee I never realized how much worse the second (and third) were to the first one. As a youngling I used to love them. Was a struggle to get through this one.

New Super Lucky's Tale (Xbox One | Gamepass)

Overall it was pretty decent, though a tad too easy. I still need to do the post-game world. Liked how it blended the different styles of platformers together with the different levels.

Poi: Explorer's Edition (Switch)

Overall it was an okay platformer. The final boss added a random new mechanic that you never once used the rest of the game which was weird. Actually, the bosses were definitely the weakest part overall.

I beat it for the first time with the Ironclad. It's an alright game, not a huge fan of rogue-like games where your progress resets, but it goes by pretty quick and I'm a sucker for card games.

Doom Eternal (PC)

Overall I really enjoyed this one, maybe more than Doom (2016)? The game was overall a lot more difficult and it felt like it threw a ton at you, but you also felt a ton more mobile and had a lot more options. My biggest complaint was the length of the levels. Some went on entirely too long (like 90+ minutes).

Was it because of how that trucker was slowly being moved into the sidelines? I'm also playing it and was wondering because I'm in the middle of Act III and I'm 50/50 on this now

Also do you have the edition with all the middle stuff in between episodes

Pretty much yeah. As it became less about Conway's journey I sort of lost interest. It was also a very peculiar direction to take him, especially after all my previous conversations. Plus things in Act 4 and 5 I didn't care a whole lot for.

Yeah, I had all of the interludes. It was the version on GOG.

I really liked the beginning of the game. The atmosphere, the characters, the exploration, and the melancholy. Around the end of Act III and beginning of Act IV though my enjoyment took a deep dive.

Grim Fandango (PC)

So, overall I enjoyed the writing and the characters, but I really dislike how the game is basically really obscure/hidden puzzle after another with no real idea on where to go or what to do. As it was I ended up using a guide for the majority just because I got tired of wandering around. Some of them I'm not sure I would have ever thought about the right way to do it.

Tetris Effect: Connected

Overall it was a pretty fun Tetris game. I really liked all the themes, and the visuals. That being said, I think I prefer the competitive Tetris games over the single player one (Puyo Puyo Tetris, Tetris 99, Tetris Friends).

GOG, glad you liked Seven Sirens! It may be my second favorite in the series. My biggest complaint was that it was way too easy (in a series that is already relatively easy)

Was a pretty neat game. I really liked the game mechanics, though they were fairly simple. The way the story was told was really nifty as well. I wish the puzzles were a bit more difficult, or that the game went on a bit longer. But overall fairly enjoyable for a short romp.

I'm surprised they're still dubbing it at all, to be honest.

I need to start watching again with One Pace. I quit watching during the Fishman Island arc and went solely to the manga because of the pacing and supposedly One Pace fixes it (as much as they can).
