Kingdom Hearts 2 was the last good game in that series. Everything since has proved Tetsuya Nomura should have been fired ages ago.

Birth By Sleep was decent and the only real problem with 3 is that its too easy

As someone who hasn't been initially following things too much but decided to dig into the numbers a little bit and listen to the Show for my second chance bracket I can't make sense of this DQ11 number. Dragon Quest has just historically not done that well and if DQ11 was really the series breakout moment that's kind of bizarre to me because as a game it basically does nothing differently than the other ten games besides higher production values. Meanwhile 2018 Character Battle showed the Zelda franchise being at an all-time high. Maybe it's just BotW backlash?

Thete havent been too many great JRPGs this gen so it was easy for DQ to fill that niche and become really popular

The original Nier lacked an iconic character design like 2B to get people to try it, and the combat was pretty lackluster. Its the definition of a cult classic.

The upcoming remaster should make it more popular

That is such disingenuous framing. They're plotting to ruin their former boss's law career (he's the owner of the firm!) so they can make some quick cash. And like Breaking Bad, this is two once upstanding people (lawyers!) breaking bad. How long are they?

If you just go through the main story, theyre only 20-25 hours. But finishing all the addictive side quests and mini games can take you another 40 hours. And playing them back to back can leave you feeling burnt out because of how similar the games start to feel after a while

Season 2 is the worst of Korra. Season 1 is the best. It's a little rushed and too much crappy teen romance but otherwise good. Season 3 and 4 are better than season 2 but I'm not all that fond of them.
