ROS tried to take it out of the trash, but it was already trash at that point and it just got worse. Favreau knows what he's doing with the Mandalorian so I'd trust him with the franchise moving forward. I see them going an entirely different route though, either jump way in the past or in the future for the next mainline films. --- |

Even if this wasn't going around, shaking a dude's hand that just walked in off the street and then eating with your hands seems dumb to me. --- |

| closetkpopfan 03/03/20 12:21:09 AM #72 | I teach high school. It has it's own share of pros and cons. The amount of students you get that give no ****s whatsoever about their grade is staggering. Administration seems to care more about graduation rates than actually teaching the kids anything. Kind hard to improve graduation rate when half the kids in your classes do nothing in every class they have and are failing everything. Parents suck to deal with regardless of what level you teach, they're just as terrible at the HS level trust me. I also coach and get to make some pretty cool relationships with those kids. Summers are brutal for coaching though, at least it was for me last summer. We were doing basketball stuff 5 days a week for 2 of the 3 months off we had. If the head coach wants to do that **** again this summer I may stop coaching. That summer off is crucial for teachers IMO, at least for me it is. I've got it pretty good, but teaching definitely isn't for everybody, especially if you're not in a good spot you're comfortable with. I would never teach elementary, **** that. You have anything tying you down where you are TC? If not there are some cool options you have that a teaching degree can help with. Teaching English over seas for example. Some countries pay well and you get an apartment paid for by the school. Really good way to just make money and save a lot as well since you don't have to pay for anything but utilities and food. That was always what my plan was going to be when I got my degree, but started a dating someone and later got married which obviously changed plans. --- |

Going back to the same planet told me immediately they weren't following the books. First season was great and was largely faithful to the first book, so eh. Granted the 2nd book would be hard to do budget wise, but they can still make it work with some tweaks here and there. I'll have to watch and see what they did with season 2, but I'm not expecting much. It's always a bad sign when you're successful for doing a faithful adaption, then turn around and do your own thing with the material after that. --- |

Bernie is right in that it's pretty ridiculous we don't have M4A in this country in comparison to other major countries. As it currently stands yeah what he wants to do would cost a lot of money, but he is the only candidate out there that seems to want to actually change this country in a meaningful way. Whether he could actually accomplish that if he wins is one thing, but he's legit the only person that seems like actually cares about people. --- |

Any dumbass can vote for whatever reason they want, and everyone is too lazy to do any research, so they just vote for their party. First, you don't reveal hes back in the opening credits, and you don't have him hand wave his being alive with a throw away line. He should have been a Sith ghost somehow, with his ultimate plan being to take over Rey's body as his own so he could actually be alive again. Make the rest of the movie about Kylo vs Rey and First Order vs Resistance. Then make Endor the climax with Palps ghost there. Would have to come up with a good reason for them to go to Endor, some how Palps can lure them there I don't know. I'd much rather see a more personal and character driven story as opposed to saving the galaxy from destruction for the hundredth time. Stakes don't have to be world (or galaxy) ending. Just a simple plot of Palps trying to come back would work so much better imo. --- |
