A lot of parents can't afford a sitter, which is why grandparents are present. Changing jobs is difficult by nature, even more so when many are suffering or closing from the pressures of COVID measures. Doesn't help that it's rather common for many American children are raised more by their grandparents than their parents. Childcare is a real issue in America; the fact that school basically was free daycare with meals for a lot of parents just became more apparent, & partially why sending them back so their parents can return to work, is such an issue.

Not much of this info is really new. I remember it being mentioned before that Nintendo essentially stopped allowing Intelligent Systems to do Mario OCs. Also, we all know about Miyamoto's general disdain for developed Mario plot. Also the notion of "not repeating" has come up for interviews for SPM & Sticker Star. Nintendo has had a growing obsession for casuals, since the Wii. Most of these things are unlikely to change, so long as Miyamoto still has influence.

Yeah, on the subject of subquests, if you do nothing else, I do recommend you use a guide for getting each character's 4th & 5th skill tree. Also Shulk has two optional Monado arts that can be quite useful. The Colony 6 reconstruction also has quite a few bonuses behind it as well.

Though overall, all the videos about his development time are correct. He's been at it for six years now, on what is allegedly a beta. I don't follow any of it much myself, but competitive gaming has plenty of scandals among it. Though as for Smash, I don't know why they're so hard up desperate to be part of a community that has made it clear time & time again, they openly despise them. I had no idea Chey Boyardee was based on a real person. That said, that one kinda carries the connotations of Italian stereotypes. Though assuming it's based more on the character, I want it, just because it sounds like it'll be funny explaining how a pasta mascot got a town statue.

When you get right down to it, that's basically how all of life works. Why go search for someone if you already know someone who can handle it? For black people in America, that creates a very challenging uphill battle, as it means that they don't likely have an "in" with those types of social networks.

I personally don't think it should matter, but I won't ignore the disparity of opportunity either. Despite how much people like to pretend that "the best person will get the job", that is NOT how Hollywood or most of life actually works in practice. Most actors are cast because of who they know & who they are. When it comes to voice actors, a lot of work gets swiped from the actual voice actors for top celebrities that may or may not have any actual talent for voice work, where the role was often times tailored to them. If you're black & trying to be an actor, the odds are already stacked against you; we've heard too many instances of directors worried about if audiences will identify with a black actor or how marketable they will be. To that end, if it gives aspiring black voice actors even a slightest bit of chance where there was most likely none, I can't completely oppose it.

As much as loved the game, it seems beyond late at this point. I can't say I'd be too interested in a sequel either, given the mobile versions basically cut the mechanics of actually controlling your partner. It seems like a game that only really works on a DS.

Not surprising. For what I've always come to understand, a lot of Amazon's processes are automated, & it's the same stuff that's being implemented by companies like Walmart. The hard reality is that wealth accumulates over generations, & poverty is self perpetuating. Whether it be slavery, Jim Crow, or the modern biases that exist within the system, black Americans have always been restricted in what they could do. This means any children they had, were also limited by what their parents could provide, & this carries on to the children of those children, generation after generation. This is why blacks are so disproportionately over represented in almost every definition of a "disadvantaged" community. Sure some manage to overcome such odds, but those are outliers.

If you seriously needed it explained to you, this is just one example of how oblivious some people can be to reality & the causality of events.
