To me, in the clip, it sounds like he's saying "They're bringing drugs. Tey're bringing crime, their rapists." Like, it sounds like he's listing them versus randomly saying "they're rapists!" It just makes more sense to me and it sounds like that.

I actually wanted to post that people get ignored for all sorts of reasons. But as I was typing I realized the only person I know has me on ignore, is someone I called out for unmarked spoilers.
This nut proceeded by putting me on/off ignore multiple times to insult me, send PMs filled with insults,... Six months after the fact he send me a PM filled with offensive shit and told me to kill myself. Another 6 months later (early March) he did the same thing using an alt.

All because I told him he's an inconsiderate ass for refusing to tag his spoilers. People are fucked up.

Because our brains are wired to link a sound to a source. Sounds not aligning with visuals can be annoying as hell. Try watching an entire movie with the sound less than a 1 second later/earlier than the visuals. You'll probably feel what tons of people feel watching live action dubs.

Yup, her comments and process for the role are fucking stupid. Hence my initial post on how trans characters should be written and portrayed in a manner that resonates with trans people.

And I completely agree. The best era was before he started going grandiose and wanted to start acting out roles in scenes. I didn't like it when Doug cancelled The Nostalgia Critic to do Demo Reel, which rightfully bombed. He just put his Demo Reel content into The Nostalgia Critic instead. I have nothing against Malcolm and Tara, but I refuse to watch the clip-less episodes. I wish someone would produce "abridged" versions of The Nostalgia Critic which cuts out all of the dumb scenes.

Its funny in a way, The Nostalgia Critic criticises a movie for doing some dumb lame sketch that halts the progress of the movie, and then does exactly that during his reviews. The Coronavirus has actually improved The Nostalgia Critic by forcing him to go back to basics without all the acting.

I actually really like Malcolm and Tamara as they're far more charismatic than Doug and better. Still won't watch any of his reviews recreating entire movies in shitty scenes. Any review of his that starts with a 5 minute sketch I just skip to whenever the actual review starts.
