Which is highly racist to say.

Imagine not only being black and having to deal with racism, but also being a Republican and dealing with the bullying from mainstream black Democrats.

The lines moves faster than any other fast food place.

I could be the 5th car at McDonalds and be waiting 30 mins.

If I am the 20th car at Chickfila, I still get through in about 9 mins.

Chickfila is about service. Their food is ok, but their service is literally the top. They probably even beat some fancy restaraunt only billionaires go to.

Agree 100%. Also, if you have kids, it's a mandatory place to go to. The high chairs are always spotless, they have disposable place mats, and they usually have a play area.

They also have my order correct over 95% of the time. The last time they had a slight mistake on my order they freaked out and comped my entire order AND fixed the problem immediately. McDonalds would ask for the wrongly made item back, throw it away in front of you, then take 5 minutes to fix it with barely an apology.

I know a guy who discovered his order was wrong after he got home. He called the Chik-Fil-A and the manager drove out to his house to make it right. No other place would do that.

I know it's not the African Savannah, but if I was in remote Canada I would want some high powered rifles for protection. Not everyone lives in Vancouver or Ottowa.

There are soft inquiries, which don't impact your score. This occurs when you do a free annual credit report. You can also sign up for a credit bureau's monitoring system or MyFICO, for examples, but they cost money. Other ways are Credit Karma (which isn't 100% accurate as far as the score goes but is very accurate in keeping your account records) or if you have a credit monitoring tool with a credit card.

Hard inquiries are when creditors pull your report when you apply for a loan or credit card. These are funny because depending on the last time you opened a new account or had a pull, a hard inquiry can actually boost your score by a few points. But they typically drop your score a few points. Do note that multiple hard inquiries within a short amount of time hurt your score--within about six months to a year though they stay on your reprot for two years.

Also note--credit scores fluctuate monthly depending on your credit history and activity.

Yep, great advice here. I had to really study how credit scores worked when my Wife and I were house hunting at the top of our budget.

Even if you think it's dumb, don't fuck up your credit. Even if you think you aren't going to get married soon or have kids or buy a house, just pay your damn bills on time. The past can come back and haunt a new relationship, it happened to me but thankfully my Wife's bankruptcy eventually dropped off her credit a few years after we tied the knot.

I know multiple people that have 6 figure incomes but can't qualify for mortgages and pay eye popping interest rates on new cars that they are always upside down on.

I actually just started this for the first time. Its kind of slow going, considering I just finished Divinity Original Sin 2. The tutorial part really took a long time, but Im officially out in the game now.

I played the 1st Divinity Original Sin and this game is similar in some ways but you'll be surprised by how many open areas you get to explore here. That's one thing Baldur's Gate 2 changed a little by adding more content in less maps. I actually enjoy the more "wide open" feeling of this game, even if it's a little tedious exploring every nook and cranny. However, you can always be sure that each area has at LEAST one quest or interesting NPC encounter as well as some good loot.

The combat gets a lot more fun after you get to chapter 2 or 3.... At low levels in 2nd edition D&D every battle is a possible life/death scenario, especially if you're a mage. Turn the dice rolls on so you can get a clear picture that the game is basically a modified "pen & paper" RPG with dice using the illusion of real time combat.

I just decided to play last night and somehow rolled 91 on like the 5th or 6th try.

I selected a Half Orc Fighter and my stats are something like 19/18/19/10/11/12 I think. Specializing in two handed swords and two handed weapon style.

I'm going to try to only use 3 NPCs with an occasional 4th to do NPC side quests.

I think you cant go wrong with the character you made, but elves get a +1 hit/damage to bows and long swords so if you want a pure archer you probably want and Elf instead of a Half Elf.

How is it like Game of Thrones?

Well for starters, it's a serialized drama with fantasy elements and high production values. There are more similarities too, but they are obviously very different shows, seeing as Outlander takes place during different time periods on Earth.

We sold out of chest freezers at work, and when people ask we tell them every store statewide is completely sold out. People are hoarding food.

I feel sorry for people working at grocery stores, Wal Mart, Target, and Sam's Club. Workers are going to start calling out and it will only exasberate the problem.

On the other hand, I suppose if you are a hard worker there is money to be made. I assume unlimited overtime is probably approved. I have a friend at a Publix distribution center and they are doing 14 hour shifts I think.

your fantasy is just to bogus to ponder.

I think you underestimate how many humans would survive and how civilization would continue to evolve and even thrive after a catastrophic event.

Kids in a dystopian future would undoubtedly have access to old Wiis and Playstations floating around.

Thought experiment time!

Let us assume a scenario where maybe only 1/2 of the world's population vanishes. Electricity is still available (but expensive), and food is somewhat accessible. Maybe the world gets set back 50-100 years after a nasty pandemic, nuclear war, asteroid strike, or super volcano.

Pretend you are a child born a few years before "the fall". Would you play video games? Lets just assume that Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony are gone or have focused their production on other things.

He's a little too young to be bullied (most bullying starts around 4th/5th grade) but I'm trying to get him started on the right foot. We put him in T-Ball this week.

True. 60FPS really should be a standard come next generation.

Yeah, then it would be standard like in the NES days when the framerate was tied in with the TV's refresh rate. Reguar, old school, Super Mario Brothers ran in 60 FPS just fine.

I can confirm my LG C9 does up to 1440p at 120 Hz, but apparently you need a special cable and special devices to output at 4K 120 Hz on it.

Yeah, most people are either on HDMI 1.4 or 2.0. The new 2.1 standard has 3 times the bandwidth and will do 4K at 120hz or even 8K resolution.

Yes it's disgusting but unfortunately it doesn't matter anymore. Thanks to all the women recanting their stories about Bret Kavanaugh (one just recently admitted she made it all up as a tactic to stop him from getting on the Supreme Court...she's going to be prosecuted), you can't really believe these accusations right around election season anymore. I'm sure we will hear outlandish stories about Bernie any day now, as well.

My TV supports 120hz input at 1080p and it's one of the few TVs that does (Sony Bravia), you really have to do your research because a lot manufacturers try to throw out numbers for marketing purposes that don't mean shit.

That said, 60 fps is fine but 120 is very nice. I have a PC hooked up to my TV and just moving the mouse feels different than 1080@60. It's much more smooth. However, the only game I play at 120 is Civ6. I can't afford a 500 dollar video card.
