Was working in a warehouse through a temp agency for about two months. (10 hour M-F, 8 hour Sat). They then informed us that Saturdays were going to be 10 hour days, and to expect to start working 8 hour shifts on Sundays.

I left at lunch and didn't come back. Called the temp agency and said something came up and I wouldn't be back.

I got the impression that this is one of those games that was hating for not changing enough from the first one. While some games get love for being more of the same, this one didn't. (Of course, people then hated Infinite for being too different from the first two). I have to be honest. Wasn't a big fan of either game (FPS aren't really my thing), but I did enjoy 2 a bit more, just because I could have a weapon and plasmids out at the same time.

Overall, I enjoyed it. But my experience got tainted by the ending. I had heard it was bad, but man. The last ten minutes or so pissed me off so much. I mean, lets take all character development over the entire run and undo do it all, putting Dexter back to how he was at the start of the series

I have heard to stay away from the later books. He starts teaching other people to be serial killers, and the "dark passenger" is an actual supernatural entity.

Been pro mask from the beginning but was clowned on for it because the WHO (up until like a week or 2 ago) always said that you dont need masks unless your sick which was some horse shit seeing that if they admit it stops individuals spreading it, then more mask use should have been encouraged from the get go.

Subtle but distinct difference. Mask doesn't really help prevent you from catching it, but instead works to stop somebody who has it giving it to others.

I'll think you'll find that most fans of the souls series will agree that the first game you play is the hardest one. Precisely because, like you suggest, you have gotten use to the combat system.

I've had this discussion before.

It wasn't him, and now. It was him, but before him it was Breonna Taylor. And before her it was Arbery. And shit I can't even remember the order anymore after this. Tamir Rice, Philando Castile, Eric Garner, and so many others who've done nothing wrong just fucking murdered in cold blood with zero repercussions.

Floyd was just the straw that broke the camel's back. Part of it because the video of his death was so fucking gruesome. 8 minutes and 46 seconds of being choked to death as the people who were supposed to help did nothing, all over a fake $20 bill that he probably didn't even know was fake.

I think another huge part of it was people being unemployed because of the virus. In the past, you might get a day or two of protests on the weekend, but then people need to go to work to pay their bills. If you aren't working, you suddenly have the free time and energy to keep the protests going.

I'm curious what their testing rate is like. If testing is remaining steady or increasing while cases drop, that is a good thing. But as we've seen, some southern states are not testing just to make the numbers look good.

What's "with it" is that you're repeating the most common right wing anti-abortion argument, which is "if you don't want babies then just keep your legs closed." It's a bad argument when they use it and it's a bad one when you use it too. I don't consider "women have to accept the possibility of an unwanted pregnancy and the associated consequences if they have sex so if it happens she'd better just be ready to step up" to be a valid argument in the year 2020, and the same argument is not more valid when applied to men.

Personally, the comment strikes me as sarcastic. Mainly because when I've seen this topic posted before, the pro-birth men are the same ones who like the idea of not paying child support if they don't want to. i think if someone made a 'how to get op in dark souls in 10 minutes' vid and all it did was show the run down to the dragon covenant new players could try the run until they get it. that said, it's an example where the game punishes and limits tries, because of the basilisks. every time, you run the risk of getting cursed.

You know, you really want to make me play FTL. But I suck at RTS Strategy games. I think the game should give me an option to play it as third person platforming shooter. How they accomplish this is simply a question of mechanics and not relevant at all. More options are good, and if they refuse to do so, I'm going to whine on the internet about it and deflect.

This is why keep asking you what an easy mode would entail? Traditional methods of easy exist in the game already.

1. Do more damage to enemies? Upgrade your stats/weapon
2. Take less damage from enemies? Upgrade your health/armor
3. Don't lose souls on death? Rings of sacrifice exist. But then again, that would change a core mechanic of the game.

Maybe we are just looking for this "easy mode vision" that isn't already addressed. I mean, things like fewer enemies wouldn't help, because then you would just have less souls for leveling/upgrading/buying stuff.

Realistically, all they'd have to do for an easy mode is reduce damage enemies deal, increase damage you do, and block all PvP elements. Maybe allow you to keep all or some of a portion of your souls when you die. Same basic game, but less punishing and frustrating. I don't see a problem.

So, all the things that are present in the game already.

Reduced enemy damage - better armor
increase damage you do - upgrading weapons
block PvP - offline
keep your souls on death - ring of sacrifice

The worst version is what was done in Kingdoms of Amalur. Enemies in the region would become locked to whatever level you were at when you first entered it. So, if you are one of those people that explores around at the beginning while ignoring the main quest, congratulations. Due to your wandering, all enemies are now at level 5 for the rest of the game.

Eh, I have mixed feelings on this. It can be an interesting time machine to what was thought about a game at the time, that has later been clarified and corrected. It immediately makes me think of an old online guide for FFXI and the CoP expansion. Me and a few buddies used that guide while going through the missions and it was an excellent resource. But as the game went through major changes, fight strategies went right out the window. Still, it was a fun read and interesting to see the mindset of what worked at the time, or what information was later discovered to be incorrect.

My taste as well when I'm spending some alone time. But sometimes, smaller fits the frame better overall and is just more aesthetically pleasing. Not as much for the turn-on value, but it's like a great view that takes your breath away.

Don't quite remember the exact numbers, but the business bailouts would have broken down to something like $5000 per person. They could have then used to money to buy stuff. Instead, they gave it directly to the companies with no regulation or oversight at all.
