| lv20swds 05/15/20 6:42:26 AM #7 | Love it and only ever played it solo. 1 is certainly dated but I'm currently playing it again. I'd say it's worth it to play first because IMO there is a a certain charm to the simplistic take it has. Not overly challenging and not a great story, but a fun, pick up and kill shit for some time game. 2 is great. Some issues with balance but is great fun, contains a ton of content, and features, imo, the best villain in video game history. A little bit dated in gameplay but overall it still holds up tremendously imo. 3 is fun. Better balanced than 2 imo. Has a lot of quality of life improvements. It isn't nearly as good relative to it's time as 2 was, but the improvements it has make it probably the one to play if you're only going to play one of them. Plus, it's on track to have a lot of content as the game itself is pretty well set up to farm various parts, and they've added a great combination of free content + worthwhile DLCs. |
