If you dated someone for 10 years and then struggle to see them with another person thats pretty human. Thats a lot of your life you spent getting to know who they are and having to see a new guy in their life trying to build that same rapport that you sunk all that time into is a hard pill to swallow.

Depp was nothing like Sweeney from the stage. They made him hot and all quirky for the jack sparrow fans.

I'm not discussing anything theatrical here, purely film releases.
Depp has musical chops that can't be denied, and an emotional range to match.
Bonham-Carter was a weak point, but Alan Rickman surprised me quite a lot.

Little Shop is also amazing. Rick Moranis is a gem, an such a unique story.
Rocky Horror is hit and miss for me. On one hand Tim Curry, on the other the rest of the cast is bland. On one hand the musical numbers are wonderous, on the other the story is impossible to follow.

Same thing with the other Jazz centric movie by the same director, Whiplash. Regardless of whether or not you're a jazz guy, it's a solid film for many other reasons.

Whiplash was phenomenal for me because I've played an instrument for almost 20 years, in various concert bands over the years.
10/10 performance from Teller and Simmons.

Chicago for live action, Lion King for animated.

Cell Block Tango is one of the best musical numbers in film period, but the rest of the film? Eh.
Lion King is also my #1 favorite film of all time so.

HM: "Oklahoma" and "Fiddler On the Roof"

Wizard is a classic, but didn't age very well. It's also a very superficial experience. Same with Willy Wonka.
Disney Films get their own category, there are so many of them in varying quality that it's only fair to judge them on their own.
Fiddler is good, but didn't hit me as emotionally as some others.
Repo! is another phenomenal work.

I won't argue that Singin in the Rain isn't wonderful, but none of its musical numbers have any emotional weight to them. They're all rather.....pop-ish?

if so, I liked it, but I preferred: The Greatest Showman, La La Land & The Sound of Music (I don't really watch musicals).

Yes. Russel Crowe as Javert is an incredible performance, but really Anne Hathoway steals the show as Fontine.
Sound of Music is overrated and I don't like jazz so.
I did like Greatest Showman, but felt it was a weaker performance for Jackman.

I already said the Shelby and F series are the only redeeming models Ford has.
And arguably the F series is either matched or beat by more reliable and lower maintenance brands eg Chevy and Dodge.

I regularly see 2017-2020 vehicles. Your assumption is flawed. New vehicles get into accidents too.
And there is a massive difference in what make you buy. To say otherwise is totally ignorant.
Things determined by make/model:
- ease of spark plug access
- ease of oil filter access
- ease of battery access
- cost of replacement parts
- cost of maintenance
- longevity of parts

Toyota (rightfully) has a reputation for being easy to work on, having incredibly long lasting and reliable parts, and inexpensive part options.

I work with cars every day, specifically cars that have been in accidents.
Ford is a travesty and only the Shelby and their trucks have any value.
And even in the truck department Dodge, Chevy, and Toyota all do just as good or better.

Aight fine. I see what they went for. Show what a stupid ass kid (Rick) does and how people treat him for the horrible shit he does.

Rick was meant to be the typical "loser".
Alone (even when he wasn't), unable to read social cues, growing anger, and bullied.
While they want to show how horrible bullying can be (even when one brings it on themself) Rick was never meant to be a target for empathy or sympathy.

JT on the other hand....hands down the best written character on the show along with Craig.
