played for a couple hours on ship 3 last night, i really have no idea what i'm doing, even though i played a ton of pso1 on the dreamcast

it's kind of nice being clueless in an "mmo". not a feeling i get very often

and over-the-shoulder is about a billion times better than the top-down camera angles of diabloesques

yeah i did look at the microtransactions just enough to figure out how mags work. because i'd rather just play one character for convenience, and you need 4 mags total i believe to be able to play every class, so that's just 10$, which is fair.

and yeah i just need to play a bit more and familiarize myself with it.

this is my obligatory attempt to convince you to start a character on ship 3 to be able to play with (most) of us on b8

you should make the max number of characters anyways though because pso2 throws out rewards on a per-character basis like candy

waiting on my ssd to arrive before i can upgrade to windows 10 and begin the process of playing this game in english after logging about 6000 hours into JP servers

oh good point about the extra characters. are the rewards you're talking about the kind that could be transferred to account storage? or do i need to put effort into making characters i like and will want to play eventually

also, rad, did you already have a ship/alliance you were planning on joining?

idk there's like actual white nationalists who regularly post in these topics and people engage with them, a couple people getting heated while working through their anxieties is progress imo

i've gotten used to tuning them out i guess.

mostly it was one person that i haven't seen in these topics regularly (and who i didn't previously associate with this kind of behavior) that i felt was being particularly gross, not the regulars being anxious or the known terrible people being expectedly terrible.

Yeah Bernie's issue in 2016 is that a ton of superdelegates pledged for Hillary before voting even started. And by complaining he got that changed!

Should've pushed for the abolishment of superdelegates entirely and the introduction of a ranked choice system, but hindsight is 20/20.

he *did* push for the elimination of them entirely.

once again, the media narrative that the rules we have now are the rules bernie wanted is 100% false. his representatives in the reform commission pushed to eliminate them entirely and, because they were the minority on the commission, we ended up with the compromise we got.

bernie and his team absolutely wanted them gone.

i will say, the superdelegate makeup this time around isn't nearly as stacked towards establishment candidates as it was in 2016. it's not a foregone conclusion that bernie gets shafted by them. it's certainly possible but not a guarantee.

bernie's position in 2016 wasn't "hey all superdelegates you should come to me instead!" it was "the superdelegates from the states I won should go to me, and the superdelegates from the states clinton won should go to her, instead of the overwhelming majority of them having pledged to clinton regardless of the will of the states they were elected from"

In coronavirus news, because I was in Santa Clara two week ago, and stayed home sick last week, my company is telling me to stay home this week too (they will pay me but not dock sick time or PTO time). Not complaining about the extra recovery time, I'm still not feeling great. But I did tell doctors I was in Santa Clara and that I should be tested for coronavirus, and they tested me but did not seem concerned after they got the tests back.

oof. i hope you recover quickly! and at least it seems your employer is pretty cool

She also went on stage and declared that she and Klobuchar were the only ones not taking any PAC money, and Bernie was not. Which was...a little misleading if nothing else (this was a week or two before she got a Super PAC granted, but Bernie had some small progressive PACs listed and Warren also had some of the same PACs).
