I havent been consistent in nutrition or working out lately. Switched to a 915 program until football season either is over or gets cancelled.

Not necessarily. The amount youre lifting doesnt dictate how much time you give yourself. Its all subjective. If youre totally spent at the end of your workout, and getting stronger at a decent clip, then your routine is fine.
I personally like longer breaks because Im always setting rep prs on my last set and I like to make sure Im fully recovered to give my best effort. Conditioning should never try to blend with lifting for strength. Now when I get to my accessories Ill speed up my pace because Im not focused on going super heavy anymore.

Damn a 2 hour routine sounds miserable to me dude

I rarely need much more than an hour

It depends on how much you do, and how long rest periods are. Im a big proponent of high volume training so 2h-2h30m is routine for me. The bulk of it is spent doing my heavy compound lift since I like to take 3-5 minute breaks on my heaviest sets, especially if I have a partner. I tried to shorten my workouts in the past, but it hurt me more than helped me.

source?

Its been speculated that the virus had already been circulating, but no one knew about it, so we couldnt identify it. The first official case wasnt until mid-January, after China finally admitted its existence and laid out the symptoms. That would explain how it spread so fast from that point to being all over the country in a little over a month...people unknowingly spreading the disease because they thought it was a common cold/flu.

scorpion41

  • A positive test result shows you may have antibodies from an infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. However, there is a chance a positive result means that you have antibodies from an infection with a virus from the same family of viruses (called coronaviruses), such as the one that causes the common cold.
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/testing/serology-overview.html

So theres a likelihood that numbers are inflated because the antibody tests detects ALL strains of coronaviruses. In other words: the antibody test is useless for Covid detection.

Any time you lift heavy for extended periods you should be deloading. I deload every 4 weeks myself.

Thats weird. The experts didn't have their shit together at the start of this? Thought it was all Trump's fault.

Part of it was assuming the infected would be smart about it, so they said only the sick should wear masks. But, then the infected were dumb asses, plus the asymptomatic carriers not knowing they were carriers, so they recommended masks for everyone. Trump not closing borders back in November/December was just the icing on the shit cake.

Too much protein can have an adverse reaction on the body. Greater than 50% of your calories from protein strains the kidneys, and too much powder(like replacing most, if not all meals with powder) damages the digestive system. Make sure youre balancing out your nutrition and only supplementing with whey.

At the last school I was at, the principal was friends with one of the teachers... always hanging out together, drinking together... probably hooking up together. Her friend got mad when I said I would rather not teach 8th grade because she didnt want to do it... after that I was put on a "growth plan" and written up over and over again until our school went to remote learning. I tried explaining that to the super intendent, HR, and the school board and was told that if I didn't resign, I would be terminated.

... and that's not the first time something like that has happened... so yeah, fuck teaching. hopefully the government is better.

My principal is similar except shes not so direct. She ran off two popular teachers early in the year by making little snide comments to others while they were in earshot, and made it impossible for the detention teacher to leave his room(old football coach who rarely had any students put in his room). She tried that subtle approach with me, but when she saw me talking to a union rep she backed off. But, she did what she had to do when she hired a 22 year old over me, that had been at the school for 8 years, to be the football coach. Im just waiting for the right job opening to skip out on them. Theyre in trouble if I quit.
