i know its hokey, but 50 years ago my dad sat on my grandfathers lap watching the Chiefs win Super Bowl 4 (my grandfather would play a round of golf with Len Dawson and got his autograph for my dad)

In February we were all in different places but got to call each other, telling each other it was all worth it and deciding how much Super Bowl gear we would get.

Football trades are weird for me to comprehend. Theres always dead cap involve but its not basketball where anything needs to match.

Watson is better than Allen, Murray, Burrow, and Herbert, but those teams would probably rather have the cap room to build a supporting cast while their QBs are on their rookie contract.

I do think the rule probably needs to be re-examined. Like it's just flukey that this is a touchback and not like Cleveland ball at the one yard line.

Whenever I hear this discussion I always think of the Leon Lett fumble and how everyone would be cool with the Cowboys getting the ball at the 1 and scoring anyway.

I would compromise and say the defense takes the ball over at the spot of the fumble

Well, the playoff has just killed all sense of meaning to the bowl system. Most big name programs don't care about winning them anymore unless they're rebuilding or trying to make a name for themselves like Iowa State.

While I agree with this, I still laugh that OU only had 1 opt out which I think is pretty good for a roster that had played in 3 straight playoffs, while Florida had a ton
