I'm pleased to have ontroduced you to a new series you enjoyed through this project! The Pokemon entry also got higher than I was expecting. I figured that my last remaining nomination would be the one to go furthest. Now I'll have to wait and see how far it can get.

You may already be aware of this, but in case you're not, both games are from the same developer, and are also part of a shared universe. Ghosthunter Fortesque is a distant descendant of Sir Daniel Fortesque (I don't remember if it's specifically mentioned in the full game, but it is in the demo, which includes concept art of both Fortesques and confirms their relationship).

I feel like Guile would be a more skilled fighter than Mario if they were to go 1 on 1. In Smash, Mario usually has multiple opponents, so it's easier for him to fight without having someone on his back at all times. This scenario benefits Guile because he's more used to 1 on 1 battles than Mario is. Mario has better manouevreability, but Guile takes advantage of his own weaker mobility to charge his special moves. Sonic Booms are faster and have better range than Mario'r fireballs, so Mario would have to get up close to fight, and Guile can use a flash kick to knock Mario away again.

This is assuming there are no power-ups, but if there were, Mario would have the advantage because he has more familiarity with them than Guile.

I get the horrible feeling that at least one of those may be mine, since I didn't listen to all of my songs all the way through, some of them I only listened to enough to decide that I would nominate them.
