I know I live in Toronto so if she was one year older it would technically be legal but even if she turns 16 and lie about being 20 it would still be unethical as people would expect to meet a girl attending university she even went as far as making a false LinkedIn account -_-

Going up in age never seems an issue - but anyone past like 21 or 22 wanting to date down to an 18 year old is usually a creep.

You go through a huge mental shift when growing up in your 20s. For me, around 23, I noticed that 18 year olds were "kids" to me. If I ever said like, "Oh look at those kids over there", I'd catch myself and go, "Wow, I got old".

Just mentally they were so young, immature, experienced with life, etc that they looked juvenile. So yeah, it's weird.
