Well, there isn't really any reason to get multiple Zarude as a lot of events this generation are locked to a specific nature, mostly the Mythical or Legendary event distributions. Zarude is locked to a Sassy nature.

The only actual reason to get multiple Zarude is to use the extras as trade bait to get specific Pokemon (or other event distributions) that you don't own.

I still hate that Meltan/Melmetal remains locked to Pokemon Go. Not everyone is going to be interested in playing Pokemon Go, so they would be locked out of getting them unless they trade with someone who has one or they have to resort to hacking to get one into their game.

Now that we've gotten ownership polls for both the Xbox Series X/S and the PS5, I can now talk about the results in more detail.

Xbox Series X/S finished with an ownership of 6.01%, which is a clear improvement over Xbox One's launch day ownership of 4.50%. It was likely that the Xbox Series X/S would have ended up with better launch day ownership than the Xbox One because the site was still in full-on Microsoft hate mode at the time and we've had 7 years for that to die out considerably. As well as Microsoft being able to turn around their brand image after the initial reveal of the Xbox One.

PlayStation 5 finished with an ownership of 8.18%, which ends up being a step down from PlayStation 4's launch day ownership of 8.48%. Even worse about this performance is that PS4's launch day ownership was for North America only, since it was released in Europe 2 weeks later and other regions got it even later than that.

PS5 doesn't look quite as bad as this performance might suggest, because Xbox Series X/S fared better than the Xbox One in terms of launch day ownership. Very few people are willing to jump on board with getting both consoles at launch, especially during a global pandemic. It seems very likely the PS5 lost some of its potential launch day ownership from people choosing to buy the Xbox instead.

27.27% on 7/3/2020 was the most recent ownership result for Xbox One. However, the Xbox One's all-time highest ownership was 27.71% back on 7/3/2019.

Xbox One also had a launch day ownership of 4.50%, so today's result for Xbox Series X/S is actually slightly better despite being rather early in the poll so far.

I've gotten 2 of the 1-point districts wrong, plus Georgia (if it holds) and Ohio. I knew Ohio was probably more of a longshot prediction, but it was the state that I tried picking for an upset special. Georgia was more unexpected because I had always considered Georgia to be a more Republican state than Florida, so picking Florida to go Republican means you generally have to pick Georgia to go the same way.

In less than 5 hours from now, we should end up getting a presidential election PotD on GameFAQs. Which means it's time to discuss that.

Luster Soldier's Analysis

11/3/2020 - Who do you most want to win today's US presidential election?

Back in 2016, I tried to predict the results of this poll, but that was based on the assumption that it would be a 1v1 poll. Instead of getting a 1v1 poll for the 2016 election, Allen tossed in several third-party candidates plus a joke option in Giant Meteor. The 2020 poll should be a return to the 1v1 format we had for 2012, partly because the third-party vote will be much smaller this time around and Joe Biden is nowhere near Hillary Clinton's level of unpopularity.

For the 2016 poll, I predicted Hillary Clinton with 67.74%. The final result ended up with Hillary Clinton with just 61.17% on Donald Trump directly, so I was off by nearly 7% there. However, Giant Meteor really complicates matters here as I feel the joke option clearly picked off a lot of potential Hillary Clinton votes where as Trump's 18.71% in the 2016 poll is probably an accurate measure of what he gets in a straight 1v1 poll. I would even go as far to say that Giant Meteor LFFed Hillary Clinton in that poll, as it is the only plausible explanation for Trump doing as well as he did on Hillary.

One notable change since 2012 is that the site's userbase has continued to get older based on the age polls. As of right now, the site's average user age should be around 34. At least in the US, many people do move farther to the right (more conservative) as they get older, but I have not seen any evidence of it taking place among the GameFAQs userbase yet. Even then, someone like Donald Trump isn't the type of Republican that would benefit from this site's changing age demographics in the first place.

Anyways, Nightwish does have other songs which do feature the word "ghost" at least once in the song's lyrics. The list of Nightwish songs that use the word "ghost" in the song lyrics - Bye Bye Beautiful, The Islander, 7 Days to the Wolves, Ghost River, and Song of Myself.

And then there's the song Ghost Love Score, which doesn't actually feature the word "ghost" in the song lyrics, but I wouldn't consider that one to be about a ghost.

Are you saying that the game isn't letting you use your Garchomp online in the game? The game does have hack checks in place to prevent hacked or edited Pokemon from being used online if there's something about them that shouldn't be possible normally.

Depends on the state. Some states have to wait until Election Day before mail-in ballots can start being counted.

Gamefreak seems to have decided the best way to balance the legend duos is to give one a great stat distribution but a shit movepool, and one a shit stat distribution but a great movepool

After the mess that was VGC back in Gen 7, it seems like Game Freak has chosen to be much more cautious with the movepool they give to new Pokemon, at least during the generation they are introduced. They are introducing new Pokemon with bad movepools initially so later generations can expand their movepool to be much better.

The last topic we had for Sword/Shield discussion was Part 4, which ended up purging from the board a while back.

The Crown Tundra DLC will be released at some point on October 23rd in Japan, which may happen on the night of October 22nd for those in the US or possibly even earlier than that.

The PSP would have the sheer numbers advantage over Vita, as the ownership rates can attest to. The PSP maxed out at a 53.23% ownership on this site while the Vita maxed out at just 38.56% ownership.

I wouldn't read too much into a poll where both the PSP and Vita were both under 2.5%. Vita might have had a slight advantage being more recent than the PSP. It also had better exclusives than the PSP ever had.

Switch has gained almost 7% compared to the same poll from 2 years ago. It's still losing to the GameCube, but I expect trends to be very favorable towards the Switch during the overnight hours as the GameCube is expected to do poorly with the European vote. That would only really apply to the characters that L-Block defeated in 2007 and 2008 (mostly second place and third place finishers), plus Auron in 2013 since L-Block got rallied to defeat Auron.

L-Block's strength since 2010 has been pretty stable. The 2 characters L-Block defeated in 2010 would still be wins for L-Block in a rematch.

Spicy Nacho is the best flavor for me.

Spicy Sweet Chili Heat is the worst flavor I've tried. I've never seen Bold BBW, Taco, Tapatio, or Ketchup flavor in stores before, so I have no experience with them.

Livewire is a bad elimination this early. I guess being hard to find in stores puts it at more of a disadvantage compared to the other flavors.

Going to switch over to Voltage now. That flavor is far more widely available in stores (not difficult to find).

That's very weird. I could definitely see the physical version being difficult to find in stores, which could force many people to buy the digital version instead during the time it's available to buy.

I would prefer to avoid getting a digital version of the game, but I'll do it only as a last resort.

I totally remember Pitch Black II. That was a good flavor.

Regular Pitch Black was brought back for a limited edition run in 2016 for a competition (similar to DEWmocracy) against Baja Blast to see which flavor would become permanently available in stores. Pitch Black was the winner, but it has now been discontinued in most areas of the US, with the exception of the Midwest according to this page:

Yesterday, I managed to find this year's Voo Dew flavor in stores. It was available at my closest Walmart store, where I bought a 6 pack of 16.9 fluid ounce bottles. Voo Dew 2020 has a slightly different taste compared to Voo Dew 2019, but they have a very similar taste.
