Be careful TC. I've been moderated just for mentioning I'd read that rates of A-word were higher among transgendered people than the general population. With the mod's note being something like "Suggesting transgendered people ar empire likely to be A-word is baseless and offensive".

Linking to the articles about the studies to show the correlation wasn't baseless didn't help to overturn the moderation.

I'd be surprised if somebody got moderated for a journal published in Nature.

"I was just mocking a pregnant woman guys" is an odd way to defend yourself.

I choose to not look at it as mocking and maybe a well-intentioned but poorly executed joke, but that's just me. I'm always wondering why people immediately assume the worst out of others.

EDIT: I still think it's awkward and creepy as fuck though.

i kinda wanted to be a doctor before but the schooling takes so long imo. Do you think it should be shorter?

I don't really know. It's hard to say. Midlevel providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants) have about 1/3 of the time commitment and about 1/20th of the clinical hours put in and they are a disaster with their management. I think the cost of medical school and the training conditions of residency are atrocious, but maybe it is necessary.

Yes, OB/Gyn. C-sections, catching babies, and hysterectomies nonstop.

Most of the cubans that fled cuba and sought refuge in the US were the wealthy 1% who couldn't bare a more equitable society. Former plantation owners, landlords, and such.

I'd be willing to bet that if those poorer Cubans had a means of escape, they'd have bee-lined it.

I dont get how something like not realizing youve missed your period for over half a year is possible.

You'd be absolutely amazed at how common infrequent periods are. Even moreso with women on contraceptives that have failed.

It happens. I've had 2 patients so far in my 3-year career who showed up early preterm in labor, had no idea they were pregnant.

That Dragonrot curse is a pain in the ass, but there are a limited number of items that can purge everyone of rot.

It's better to avoid dying as much as possible, for the sole purpose of not accumulating Dragonrot. It prevents NPC quests from going forward and lowers Unseen Aid. That being said, it doesn't prevent any major plot events from happening.
