It's hard to say. Midlevel providers (nurse practitioners and physician assistants) have about 1/3 of the time commitment and about 1/20th of the clinical hours put in and they are a disaster with their management. I think the cost of medical school and the training conditions of residency are atrocious, but maybe it is necessary. --- |

It's better to avoid dying as much as possible, for the sole purpose of not accumulating Dragonrot. It prevents NPC quests from going forward and lowers Unseen Aid. That being said, it doesn't prevent any major plot events from happening. --- |
