It's pretty clear Mace had basically won in a straight up 1v1 (I mean, technically it was 4v1 or something, but the others got taken out so effortlessly that they basically didn't count). The tables only got turned because of Anakin's interference, and he capitalized on it.

Sure, in that scene he's playing an act in front of the Senate to garner sympathy, but as was said above I'm pretty sure getting his face melted was not necessarily planned in advance; he was just rolling with it.

I mean, to me this argument is like saying that Darth Vader's "real body" is that of a tall, imposing, jet-black tinman. Obviously it's not (the whole point of the prequel trilogy is to show that it's not); it's just the appearance he's most well known for.

My spouse (who is French) tells me that in their language, it's referred to as "la Force", with la being the term used to refer to "female" subjects (and le being used to refer to "male" subjects). Apparently French is one of the languages where everything has a gender, somehow. I don't really get it.

All I know is what was already pointed out in the spoiler in post #11. As far as I'm concerned, assuming the Force has to be one or the other (which already doesn't make ANY sense to me; you'd think the Force would be something that transcends all of this sex/gender crap), the actual evidence provided in the films points more toward "male" than anything else.

Masks do make it harder for me to breathe, especially in hot conditions.

It's not going to make me not wear them in public indoor spaces or anything (believe it or not, I actually do want to make a reasonable effort to not kill anyone), but I'm also not exactly going to admit "oh ok, I guess it doesn't impact my breathing after all" just because there's been online videos of people who don't encounter the same issue. People are, surprisingly, different. I'm pretty sure I know how my own breathing is affected better than some strangers on the internet do.

Really doesn't feel necessary to do if you're not outside in a crowded area and are actually making any sort of attempt to respect social distancing.

Such mandates are pointless anyway if they can't be enforced. Where I am masks are supposed to be mandatory in all public buildings, but I still see tons of people who don't bother, and nothing ever happens to them.

The only one I've played was the original N64 one, but I'm almost certain I would like TTYD more, because it's basically the original's gameplay but expanded upon.

Don't think I would like any of the others, they simply diverged too much. Same reason why more modern Final Fantasy titles kinda pushed me away from that series.

If so, is it time that we as a world ban fireworks forever? Dont mean to make light of the tragedy, but if fireworks were the cause then wtf.

Fireworks wouldn't cause that. It would cause multiple explosions that would be a lot weaker and more scattered (to the point it would almost be a misnomer to even call them explosions) instead of just one big boom with a shockwave.

I mean, maybe a cache of fireworks got caught in the explosion but they definitely weren't what made the big boom.

I do this, because it really does get hot and stuffy in there, I have low heat tolerance as it is (particularly during the summer), and it only gets worse when leaving the (usually) a/c'd environment of the store.

Given the amount of people I still see not bothering to wear one at all even inside the store (when it is now supposed to be mandatory while indoors in any public building in my area), I think I would find something else to complain about in your shoes.

Well I mean, Jedi were also not supposed to form romantic attachments, but Anakin did and that was pretty much what ended up ultimately driving the plot of episode 3. Suffice it to say, they weren't infallible beings.

Personally, if I were to get into any sort of battle royale / elimination style of game, this would probably be the sort.

Don't care so long as they aren't looking down on my carnivorous self or trying to push their views onto me. As soon as they start, I end up adopting the Maddox approach. ("For every animal you don't eat, I'm going to eat three!")

This goes for people like the OP too though, insisting stuff like "but we're meant to be omnivores". Most people were "meant" to become sexually mature and pop out a bunch of kids, but it turns out that I'm asexual and without any sort of a sex drive to speak of. People are just different and any sort of "meant to be X" statement will always have people who won't fit it. That's human diversity for you.
