I played it pretty obsessively until their Harry Potter game came out. But then I got bored of that after like a week and never went back to Pokmon Go.
I probably would have kept playing Pokmon if that had never happened.

I'm a fan of mayo just because of its use in egg salad sandwiches, though I wouldn't willingly put it as a condiment on anything.

I've had problems when talking to people about fantasy novels that I've read and they have listened to the audio book for. They'll mention some character and I'll have no idea who they are talking about because I pronounced it differently in my head when I was reading it.

Even as a straight dad I hear that all the time, and it's like "no, it's not a special occasion that I'm taking part in raising my children."

I still see my parents pretty frequently since they are both retired so there isn't much risk.
I haven't seen my friends in person since March of last year, though we play D&D online together just as much as we did when we were in person.

I've never had a commute longer than 15 minutes in my life. I'm not suddenly giving up an extra hour and a half every day.

It would be way easier to make money with jumping, but my hips are already messed up so I probably shouldn't be doing that.

It's a fun game, and people who respond with "lol" every time it gets mentioned are clearly just trolling, but it does still get bogged down it some of the typical Ubisoft open world nonsense that make it feel like checking off items on a to-do list rather than providing a sense of exploration like BotW.

Not soon enough.

I generally prefer to use the self checkout, but if I've got a lot of stuff, or a lot of groceries that need number codes entered rather than just being able to scan them, I'll go to a cashier.

True. Whenever I get a lego set I'm like "this is way too expensive, I shouldn't buy any more". Then they come out with something awesome like this and I pick it up.

I picked that up last year. It may be overpriced, but it is also so cool.

Honestly I would prefer that they take the money it would cost to do that and get it in the hands of the people who need it most, not the portion of the population that hasn't actually been financially affected by COVID.

I'm Out of the loop: Did they run out of old people to give it to? Or it like they trying really hard to give it to health care workers first and it is backfiring relying on one group to vaccine when millions need it.

The issue is that the vaccine expires quickly. They basically had 2 doses that needed to be used in the next 10 minutes and gave them to whoever was there rather than just letting the vaccine expire unused.

I checked this morning and had $3,000 thanks to my wife and kids!

I would.
It's one thing to look back nearly 80 years later at all the pain nuclear weapons have wrought and pretend like you would have been noble and declined to help, but it would be quite another thing at the time to be faced with the decision of "either Hitler gets this first or we do" (regardless of the accuracy that is what everyone thought) and to just decide not to help.

I'd be pretty annoyed since I don't live near a Pizza Hut.

No, my brother got it for me.

Just presents. My grandparents used to give money at Christmas every year, but my grandpa passed away earlier this year so that isn't happening anymore.

My friend ordered from "It's Just Wings" over the summer. From the picture he sent it looked like there was more bones than meat on the wings.
A week a go he decided to try their boneless wings because he figured they might not be so bad, but they were even worse, and he and his girlfriend both got sick from it.

You don't need a $3000 PC. I've got a GTX 970 and it runs just fine.

It's certainly significant compared to the $0 the republicans wanted.

The point of giving everyone a $600 check isn't to help people, it is to help prop up the economy and line the pockets of people who are already rich. The same money could be spent to provide way more help to the people who need it most

Agreed. I've only got a GTX 970 and while it can't get max settings or anything, I haven't had a single crash.

It has always been the last Thursday of November. Like there's never been a doubt about it.

I have a few smart lights that are kind of neat. I've got it set up to be able to turn the lights off in my office with my voice while I'm playing video games. Which is nice since my kids like to play Legos in my office and it would be dangerous to walk across the room in the dark to get to my computer.

There is a reason I have all of my smart lights still connected to hardwired on/off switches so they can be controlled without an internet connection.
