As ideal as a legal maximum for the number of children a woman is allowed to have would be, that'd be extremely unrealistic to implement in a society like America. Additionally, it's wrong in a moral/biological sense when you consider that the whole point of our existence (and any other creature's existence) is to procreate.

As already said, people are definitely having less children than before. It's just the extremely religious nutjobs that think they're doing God's work by having as many kids as possible.

Putting a blanket statement that going outside to public places as "pretty irresponsible" is not very accurate. If you're going out to restaurants/bars/parties/social gatherings where there are a lot of people who aren't distancing themselves and/or not wearing masks, then yeah you're definitely being irresponsible.

If you are going to a restaurant or cafe and isolating yourself from other people, wearing a mask when you are not eating, and practicing good hygiene (hand san, not touching your face excessively, not touching countertops or tables excessively) you are taking the necessary steps significantly reduce your risk of contracting the virus.

Obviously people should be minimizing their interactions with public spaces and others in their communities. But expecting people to never go outside of their home is the same kind of logic used by crazies who think abstinence actually accomplishes anything. Would people be safer and unwanted pregnancies be avoided if nobody had sex until they got married? Obviously. But that's an extremely lofty and unrealistic expectation, so all you can do is promote being safe. Same thing with this virus. Just use some common sense, practice social distancing and wear a mask.

huh I just watched this yesterday. It was okay. I thought it'd be a little more comedic but it was overall not bad. Not a huge fan of Pete Davidson but he is a decent actor. I thought his other movie "Big Time Adolescence" was really good. Very humorous and a lot more entertaining.

We all signed up to be police officers. We knew the risks and were willing to take them, but we always assumed the city had your back.

this is the kind of stuff that makes people who say "blue lives matter" sound fucking moronic. yes, you signed up to be police officers, and hopefully you are fully aware of the risks that come with the job. but if you make a big mistake (idk like killing someone) you should not always expect to be taken care of as if nothing happened.

like could you imagine if this kind of coddled behavior were in other professional fields where people hold power? If you had a surgeon fuck up an operation due to sheer negligence, you can be pretty damn sure that his license is going to be revoked. There's a sense of accountability that makes people think about the actions they're committing.

With cops though? This guy's mentality is basically "we didn't do anything wrong, but even if we did, we should be protected by the city". dude's really making the rest of his department look like shit.
