It's not a long distance. I'm just saying you can't "cheat" by walking in place or something. You have to actually travel, and since it's only 15 minutes, covering at least two blocks felt reasonable.

Do you stop when he's cowering? Do you jump on him again if he gets up? Wait for him to swing again then jump on him? Do you stomp on his skull to knock him the fuck out so he's no danger at all? Do you run and hope the fucker isn't faster?

I think about all those things, and as you said, the answer is never pretty because at the end of the day, you're dealing with someone who's trying to hurt you and you don't know how far they're willing to take it. You can perhaps pin them and hope they calm down, but what if they don't? What if as soon as you get up, they start attacking again? And maybe there aren't witnesses around, so if you get knocked out, it may take a while before anyone notices your unconscious body (despite that you could be in need of immediate medical attention). Or maybe you knock their ass out, but again, no one's around; do you just leave them unconscious on the ground, or call the cops and basically have a "he said she said" standoff that could lead to you getting in legal trouble anyway? It's all just so messy.

had there not been someone/other people around to pull off their aggressor. I saw a video a while back of a guy mounting a dude and repeatedly punching him in the face, even after it was clear that his lights were out. I'm talkin' like, at least 15 hard punches to the face on cold concrete. It was WAY overboard, and eventually people pulled him off. The victim was literally snoring by the end of it. Scary stuff!

Mixed feelings. The entire subject kinda revolves around the basic question whether or not "sex work" (and if it's OnlyFans, were they were even naked?) is anything to ashamed about. If it's not, then sending photos to family shouldn't be anything that bothers them.

So where does sex work rank in your list of respectful work? People look at Doctors and hold them to a high esteeme right? Since they have to study for so long to literally save peoples lives

And a lot of people would say that becoming a doctor is more respectable than becoming a comedian. Still, society doesn't shame people for exploring careers in comedy. Why can't sex work be similar?

Can you honestly say if you had a choice of what your child would grow up to be you would pick a sex worker over a doctor ?

I would encourage my daughter to be whatever she wanted to be, so long as the work wasn't immoral/exploitative. That could be anything from a chef to a neurosurgeon.

False equivalency. The options had existed but were never on the scale that it is now thanks to X site. Said site is exploding in popularity where people are using it for the electronic equivalent of prostitution. We even have a politician condoning this. If I raise a daughter, I want her to value herself, her own body to more than a $10 a month subscription and be willing to take on honest work, take risks, and be creative to get to where she wants to be. Not take the easy way out with the oldest profession in the world. Is this too much to ask for?

Your daughter can be ambitious and a sex worker at the same time. The two aren't mutually exclusive. You can encourage your daughter to aim higher than sex work without instilling in her the notion that sex work is self-disrespectful.

I busted my tail taking on odd jobs and missed opportunities and gained others because I wanted to hold myself to a standard. Thanks to this, I've gotten opportunities of a lifetime that I'll be sure that (in a universe where this happens) my great great great grandkids will know about. How would I instill these values in my daughter if society is blasting tunes that contradict my values?

Is society contradicting your values by simply saying that sex work shouldn't be looked down upon? Again, you can encourage your daughter to aim higher than sex work without teaching her that sex work is vile.
