You can tell the difference between 144 and 60hz on any size monitor, you can not tell the difference between 1440p and 4k on a sub 20 inch monitor. Hell, I'd go so far as to say 4k is absolutely useless on anything smaller than a 32in monitor, whereas more FPS is 100% useful in all sizes.

Time for you to learn some science. Your numbers seem to be all wrong. I'll quote the important parts.

For even larger screen sizes, you will have to wait for 6K or even higher resolutions to become available.

Moving in just two inches isn't much, but we found that this is about right for the average laptop user when sitting at a desk. Of course, this will change from user to user, but we arrived at this based on our very scientific method of sitting different employees in front of a laptop with a tape measure.
At this distance, the need for 4K is very apparent. If you have average vision (which as we stated earlier is actually around 20/15 for a healthy adult), you would ideally want a 4K monitor at anything above a 14" screen size. This means that from a 14" laptop on up, the average healthy adult would ideally want to have a 4K screen. At the same time, unless you have 20/10 vision there should be no need for anything above a 4K screen on a laptop - so at least in terms of resolution a 4K screen is likely all laptops will ever need.

It all depends how good your eyesight it. For me, the difference between 4K and even 1440p on my 5.8" 4K phone at a foot away is obvious. And the difference is obvious on my 4K laptop too.
Though I can barely tell any difference with anything higher than 60hz, so I lost out on that. :p

I was in Best Buy once and an old lady was saying she couldn't tell the difference between a 1080p TV and her old tube TV. If your eyes aren't good enough, obviously higher resolutions won't help.

Having more than 60 fps is "unnecessary" too. Neither higher frame rates or higher resolutions are needed, but are nice to have.

I don't know much about this subject, but isn't it the console maker's responsibility to make sure the console doesn't catch fire? It should have safeguards in place so that no game can cause that much damage to it.

The ones I used back then were Video View and Blockbuster. That was the going rental price for SNES and Genesis games back then. Mostly because they only let you rent them for a minimum of 3 days at a time back then. So it was $10 for 3 days.

I don't like In n Out's burgers, so that's out. Chick-fil-A has decent chicken, and their sauces are great, so I'll go with them. Though I only ever eat at either of them a few times a year.

There's a restaurant I go past every other day that still has inside seating and is always full. I'm in Southern California. It's people that that that are the reason we're not back to normal by now.

Spoken like someone that didn't grow up with early cartage games. Back then you only had the back of the box to tell you if a game is good or not. Buy something that isn't as good as it looks? You're out $60+ and have to try a different game next time you have money.

Sure, you could rent a game first. But that's still $10 to see if you actually want to buy it. Nowadays it's a lot easier to see if a game is good first, reviews and let's play videos are everywhere.

This is one of the reasons I try to avoid fast food joints (and to a lesser extent, restaurants) in general like the plague, because even if a menu item fits into my personal fit meal plans, theyre either being cooked on the same grill as other crap or possibly being cooked in that cancer in a bottle called vegetable oil.

Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against plant-based meat (or whatever they call it). There's just something in it that my body doesn't like. I would probably eat it if I could.
