Been doing poorly with face hunter right after crafting Polkelt partially to try it in that deck. Swapped back to aggro DH (hypothetically a tier 3 deck) and won like...7 games in a row. (That deck didn't work for me at all when I got to diamond, but seems to do okay for me when it's still MMR matchmaking, not sure why).

Big Warrior also beats it (particularly if they run Bulwark of Azinoth). Resurrect Priest also beats it. And I assume Guardian Animals Druid still beats it, but that's just a guess.

Loses to decks with big minions and lots of taunts, typically. Wouldn't surprise me if it lost to other "big" variations on decks, like Big DH.

Though yeah, the matchup spread for that deck is looking really really good now. Guardian Druid is going to get generally less popular. And Big Warrior and Resurrect Priest aren't a big part of the meta.

That said, there's a lot of little adjustments people can also make, like putting 2 copies of Frozen Shadoweaver into all their decks if this deck does see a big spike in popularity.

The debate next week is the VP debate, so he doesn't need to do anything special to get out of that.

The debate two weeks from now is the next presidential debate, the virus usually runs its course in two weeks, so he could hypothetically be back for that in person. And even if not, he could teleconference that debate.

The debate three weeks from now he should definitely be back for.

From people I know who've gotten the virus, the virus really sucks, so that's possible.

Then again, the people I knew who got the virus didn't have health insurance, and stubbornly didn't go to the hospital even when they lost 20 pounds and felt extremely dehydrated. Whereas Trump has access to top notch medical care, can be put on a ventilator at the first sign of discomfort, etc. He's frankly probably going to have a relatively cushy ride through this virus.

Literally every single idiot involved in designing Demon Hunter needs to be unemployed for life. How any of this garbage got approved, let alone unaffected through 13 nerfs, is beyond me.

My attitude on this one is a bit different, I think complaining about Soul DH is a lot more reasonable than complaining about Aggro DH right now. I mean, matchup rock-paper-scissors is playing into this a bit (soul DH is face hunter's worst matchup). But it is worth noting that Soul DH is quite good and one of its worst matchups (Druid) just got nerfed, so it's definitely a deck to watch.

However...I don't think the 13 DH nerfs are too relevant when talking about soul DH. Those nerfs were almost all targeted at aggro DH last expansion, not soul DH which uses mostly cards from the new expansion (it uses all of the soul shard cards, plus Manafeeder Panthera and Wandmaker. That's actually 15/30 cards in the deck). And the old cards used are mostly card draw to draw the new cards, plus cards that weren't very good in aggro DH last expansion (Aldrachi Warblades, Blade Dance...). Like...yeah, DH has had a lot of nerfs, but most of those nerfs didn't target soul DH. (The relevant nerfs are like...Skull of Guldan and Aldrachi Warblades, which were both in literally the first round of nerfs).

And the whole "I never apologize or admit wrongdoing" motto is obviously going to skew towards existing power structures in the first place (and existing power structures in the US have a notable racist slant).

And you can go even further, and say that let's say Trump never made a slip up, never said a single thing on TV that sounded racist, condemned the KKK without complaint, condemned the Proud Boys without complaint. But quietly supported a lot of the same policies as the Proud Boys. You could still look at his policies and point out how much they hurt black people. (This, by the way, was a point raised by some high profile African American activists):

He's not necessarily mad (in this case) cause he denounced white supremacy. He's mad because he gave a teleprompter speech where he apologized (regardless of subject).

(Regardless of his reasons for anger in that particular moment, though, yes, he's obviously either racist or deliberately pandering to racists as an election strategy).

Oh man, just got rolled by a hobgoblin deck.

They played Hobgoblin and a couple of wisps and penguins. I used dagger and SI:7 agent to kill hobgoblin, thinking "ok, 3/3s trade and then I just win right?" Raise Dead; RIP me.

As someone who crafted two hobgoblins back in the day, I am...intrigued. Probably a deck that's overly reliant on actually drawing hobgoblin, but there's a lot of pretty nice 1 attack minions in the latest set (Tour Guide and Animated Broomstick for example).

I also had a friend who nearly got to legend playing Hobgoblin Priest inspired by my antics (using Hobgoblin to give Northshire Cleric +2/+2)--was a deck with much more lategame than the warlock hobgoblin decks I made. But...Raise Dead is a Warlock/Priest dual class card so....
