One being the teams who worked on those games left Square and formed Monolith Soft who worked for Bandai Namco then got bought out by Nintendo and now currently make the Xenoblade games along with BotW. Anyways I agree that Xenogears is a bad game, good story though just poorly balanced gameplay with an unfortunate second disc that is unfinished.
