G1 A Block Finals: So Ospreay beats Okada thanks to his wife distracting the ref and a returning Oka (Great-O-Karn) attacking Okada. Then Ospreay attacks Okada post-match just for good measure. I, for one, am looking forward to Heel Ospreay.

As disappointing as Travis being a Mii costume is, I honestly don't know if a playable Travis would work out well without taking out some of the charm the character had in the process. It could be possible that Nintendo were seriously considering Travis, but realised that they could have no way have done the character justice without toning down some aspects of the character.

That didn't happen until, what, 2016? 2017? Crash stunned us in the 2013 contest. My guess is somewhere around 2011-2013 there was a burst of nostalgia for him that has only grown with the remakes.

That, and the franchise being dead for 5-8 years (and people forgetting about all the crap that series churned out between Naughty Dog leaving the series and the last mobile games) helps too.

Do you guys think Steve's announcement gives more weight to the rumour that Steve was supposed to be announced at E3, but then COVID happened and they prioritised Min Min first which led to that weird "The next fighters is from ARMS" announcement?

Also, has there been anyone who is seriously already demanding a refund for the Fighters Pass after the first two reveals? I have a feeling if not we'll definitely start seeing that crap with the third fighter reveal.

Kinda surprised Minecraft ending up getting a rep after all, but I guess it makes somewhat sense from a buiness standpoint to include one of the most successful franchises within the past 15 years. Don't care either way, but not really salty about it since I wisely held off from getting the Fighter Pass until I saw something I like. At this rate, I may very well just buy one or two individual fighters.

I have no issue with Impa in Smash because she's been around since the first game and has appeared off and on for decades. She is probably the most prominent character in the series outside of the main three.

Also, I think you have to remember what he was doing the Wrestlemania before. He was relegated to the pre-show battle royal with two SNL losers and felt like an afterthought. This year might've been similar (if not worse) had Roman stayed. This was a guy who was regularly built around the main event scene with multiple world title shots for years and they had no serious plans for him at WM35 or 36. He probably legitimately thought he may end up going the way of Ryback, Wade Barrett or Rusev. Guys that were once treated as serious challengers for the top stars, then got pushed down to the midcard and ultimately "never made it big".

GameCube games have like, doubled in price from this time last year.

That's what happens when the company behind most of these games refuses to add them to their eshop and it's been 15 years since their release.

Seriously, what on earth are Nintendo thinking not porting/remastering some of these titles over to the Switch/Wii U? At this point, it's clear that people will flock to buy stuff like Fire Emblem:PoR, Paper Mario:TYD, F-Zero GX and Super Mario Sunshine.
