Also, his body was pretty banged up and having made himself an actual villain in the eyes of everyone (what with taking responsibility for the MURDER of Dent) would have made it easy harder to do the job. Nolan's vision of Batman is slightly more realistic than many other interpretations. Once Gordon was commissioner he also trusted the police to be working way better too. He had no reason to keep doing it. --- |

Overall I am on some meds though I forgot to bring my antacid immediate use stuff for work. --- |

He does have some mental health problems that weren't being addressed for a number of years. Overall I think at best he wanted fame so badly that he basically acted about as poorly as you can to get noticed. At worst he has far deeper mental health problems than has ever been known publicly. --- |

I think it is weird to compare the two, because since the time of POE1, the entire genre has been reinvigorated. There is a lot of choice now for the genre, thanks to the success of POE1. I wasn't trolling, just my experience is really not indicative of the actual sales numbers. --- |
