There's that world-ending prophecy I'm familiar with. I'm a child of the Bhaal, as is Saravok and he wants to start a war with Amn because tons of dead bodies will make him as strong as a god or something. I'm not sure I've fully absorbed it yet. Apparently I'm close to the end since chapter seven is the final chapter. I'm looking forward to starting BG2 since I'm enjoying this so much. --- |

If I'm understanding it right, the plot is basically that The Iron Throne is a mining company that conducted corporate espionage on the other mining companies, sabotaging them so they can position themselves as the preeminent suppliers of iron in the Sword Coast. Then this guy Sarevosk takes out the Iron Throne's leadership so he can take it over, then tries to use the position to become Grand Duke of Baldur's Gate? lol so no dragon-slaying or world-ending prophecy? Just corrupt CEO doing corrupt CEO things. lol. Welp, let's see how all this turns out. --- |
