No one in real life is going to ask for an id if they're horny. Its also weird and unreasonable to think that people aged 16-20 wouldn't just be outside playing soccer. Do you guys, just, never go outside? People past the age of 16 still play sports for fun.

I haven't defended rape. This is just a very gray area, which is why the woman in question didn't get put in prison.

She didn't intentionally do anything illegal. Context is always important, which is why this case turned out the way it did. The only thing you could have taken as "Perascamin defending rape" is my comment of "Eh, what do you want, throw the book at her?"

You can go back a couple of pages and see me talk about how its gross that the reverse situation happens all the time: old ass men sleeping/pursuing girls aged 16.

The question I have been waiting for. Who decides when someone should be able to consent? Brazil, Bulgaria, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Austria, Albania, China, an Germany to name just a few all decide that someone is able to consent at 14. Who is right?

I mean...you say that, but there's a lot of loser men out there who sleep with 16 year old girls all the time and get out scott free. Hell, when I was in High School, I had a friend who was 15, but looked very matured. She made a habit of seeking out much older men (because that's what she wanted) and would sleep with them and the blackmail them when they found out her actual age for money.

What I mean is that the reason this has decidedly not become a "big deal" is because when young males are lured into sex in this way, because there is little to no permanent consequences for the young male (i.e, a child) that no one really cares.

Males carry less risk than young females, because a young female can still get pregnant. Its less likely for a young male to get an older female pregnant.

Until there is a significant upheaval we just can't shut down the economy. If we were like Europe with better people focused governments, we would be okay, but we are unfortunately not.

Congress spent too much time twiddling their thumbs and pointing fingers instead of helping people. Now the periods for a lot of parts in the US have expired and some people still haven't got their job back or it was deleted. I.e, permanently closed. People are homeless now and it's bullshit.

Unless there is significant upheaval, the country can't be shut down and I say this as someone with mostly liberal values

Look I'm all for regulations to control Covid, but it's honestly just ridiculous to expect people to not have Thanksgiving lmao. A family gathering should be more safe for you and your family than, say, the grocery store.

Umm, my County has had 1842 Confirmed cases, with 17 deaths.
Those small-town numbers aren't really that good.

You can't expect people to stop living over Covid when you live in a town where .046% of residents have actually gotten sick with the virus since March.

We do well for a heavily republican area. Most people wear masks when out in public, so that has definitely helped

Georgia has 2 runoff elections in January. They will win at least one Democratic Senator in Raphael Warnock and after the Biden win, hopefully voters turn out for John Ossoff so we can add 2 dems and be at 48 Dems, 48 Republicans, and 2 independents.
