StartTheMachine 02/09/21 2:16:20 PM #486 | I'm holding off buying more AVCTW hoping for the .50s, so yeah that's my plan. I also have 40,000 warrants right now though. I put about 30k in bitcoin (well GBTC) right after I sold ENZC and 40k in IEAWW. I think the IEA warrants likely only have like a 2x upside at this point long term (say, this year), but they seem easy enough to buy around 4 and sell around 5. I was doing that for a while with less money. Now it seems like I can make some easy 5 to 10k trades if the pattern repeats. I'm also going to load up on GSMGW soon. Sucks that had to take off when I got out. I originally had a .13 average! Saw a dip to .18 today so going to try and get warrants around there. --- - Blur - Welcome to your Divinity. |

StartTheMachine 02/09/21 2:05:30 PM #476 | Sunroof posted... AVCTW > AVCT? Again, when AVCT commons hit the strike price of 11.50, the warrants will start growing exponentially. Whereas if you're in the commons and they go 11.50 to 15, well that's a nice gain. Meanwhile the warrants would double or triple from that movement. This is generally why people load the boat with warrants and wait patiently for the big trade. You're basically buying super long calls. If you need me to literally guide you play by play: if the warrants dip after ER and the call, I will sit patiently on them or buy some more. But this will be their first call, so I think they likely have some good stuff planned. I just want them to finally give guidance. So yes buy and hold AVCTW and if you don't get a 100% gain from it bare minimum you're doing it wrong. Not worried about timing the market personally here on this one. The lower the warrants get, the more I want to buy and hold for the inevitable. If something regarding AVCT's gameplan goes wrong at any point, I will be the first one to let you all know. --- - Blur - Welcome to your Divinity. |

I mean I'm sorry you went through that, but dude. did you read the next sentence I felt much more guilt than I did pity for myself, trust me. Mostly I just felt like an idiot for getting in that accident in the first place before getting reinsured. It was obviously my fault for getting myself in the situation I was in, but that doesn't change how utterly absurd it was that I couldn't even get a work license in the meantime. This is the part I'm talking about when I say "the justice system fucked me over." Not the part about having to pay the people who I ran into without insurance - that part is 100% the correct thing I should have had to do. --- - Blur - Welcome to your Divinity. |

StartTheMachine 02/08/21 5:56:04 PM #399 | red sox 777 posted... Congrats on the 100k! God bless America and bull markets. The American justice system fucked me over for the longest time, I find it fitting that some of my biggest wins have been in companies with "American" in the title - AVCT and AMC - in return. I was in an accident back in 2012 that was my fault. I have bad astigmatism which would cause my contacts to move around a lot (got LASIK now baby), and I was rubbing my eyes to put my contacts in place when I stupidly pulled out of a Subway in the rain, thinking I could see well enough, just to crash into another vehicle. I wasn't paying insurance at the time as it had recently expired and I couldn't afford it, but somehow the state didn't know and they hadn't revoked my license for not being insured. Now obviously I take full responsibility for driving uninsured, but getting my license back proved to be a way more ridiculous ordeal than it had any right to be. I owed $4600 to the people I hit, on top of more court fees, to get it back. I tried to apply for a work license, but Tennessee laws are backwards enough that I couldn't even get one of those. So I was in a catch-22 where I had to work to make money to get my license back, but had to drive to work to make money in the first place. I was in a cycle for years where I would get a well enough paying job, but they were always 30 minute plus commutes away, then I'd end up getting pulled over just before I made the sum of money I needed. Of course this just added on new charges and made it harder and more costly to simply get my license reinstated. This happened multiple times and I went to jail a bunch, always literally just trying to go to and from work. I only got my license back in early 2019 after family members stepped up to take me to my shitty $9 an hour job close to where I live, which I only kept long enough to make the money I needed for my license and bounced. After all that bullshit, you can imagine how good it feels to be where I am now thanks to my trades. All of those experiences and shitty jobs only made me yearn for financial freedom more, and are probably a good reason behind why I've made the moves I have in the stock market. --- - Blur - Welcome to your Divinity. |

These companies trade way out of whack on speculation and are maybe the most important to DD on of anything. That's why you don't see me pumping ENZC to hit like $5 or $10 any time soon like the stocktwits people. That one's a slow burner that could have insane upside the rest of the year considering how undervalued the company is. Their fundamentals are absolutely great. Not really any hype behind it for now, so you don't have to worry about crazy fluctuations. Probably throwing a modest amount of ENZC profits back in that as well, in case of the worst case scenario that AVCT news takes longer than we all thought. Probably Lopening this one and selling half of my shares should it hit $1 this week (my average is in the .30s though, not .50) to go long on the rest. May hold for a good chunk of 2021, we'll see. Then putting a lot of those gains in AVCTW, since I sold a lot of those hoping to get my average back down in the .50s. StartTheMachine 02/05/21 2:49:58 PM #167 | CoolCly posted... so what's the right price on these AVCTW warrants. seems volume is very low so trying to game for a lower price can be pretty fruitless If you can get .60 or under, that would be ideal but these prices are fine too. A big ER with guidance/new contracts could easily triple the warrants in a snap (at which point I will be selling and getting back in). Of course, us AVCT longs have been waiting forever for guidance so who knows! Just know that if there's no news or guidance this ER, I expect a harsh sell off. But the signs are there that news is coming - gargantuan insider buys recently and some institutions coming back on board after selling in August. Last time insider buys like this happened, we had the Kandy acquisition announced. Warrants went from .30 to $2 premarket that day. Investor relations has also confirmed they will be hosting their first call this ER, so that's a relief. I have a .60 average right now myself. Had a .50 average and sold 20,000 recently. Of course, I wish I had sold when they almost popped 1 like a month ago and ended up selling most in the .70s, but oh well! This was always a very long term play for me and I only plan to sell huge runs where pullback is inevitable. The timing will be tricky on those but I've already made my mind up I have to sell to lock in at least one huge win with them. And yeah, volume on warrants is funny. Generally people tend to load up on warrants and then sell after huge news, so lots of the ones I'm interested in have very low volume. Often less volume in a day than the entirety of what I own! --- - Blur - Welcome to your Divinity. |

This dramatically increased their funding and man power. Way more researchers now working on their drug development and clinical trials, so results could be expected much earlier. Right now I'm in it mostly for the hype, though people more scientifically-minded than me say their research really is promising.
