And that basically means you plug your generator in and (some of your) circuits run on the generator? So you turn your living room circuit on and plug the apc into the wall, then electronics into that? How big is your tank and how long did it last you? Street cleaners can also be made to spray salt. They don't have much in the way of dedicated snow removal. They're just better prepared using their already existing infrastructure. The salt and plows are existing materials and equipment that many states either don't have on hand, or have very little of. Our electric hasn't even asked us to keep our usage down yet, though some areas of the state are experiencing outages. we really don't have any backup plans of electric goes out so really hoping it stays manageable!! we are good on bottled water and food, but no heat sources --- Trying to dunk since July 2020 |
