TBH, does it really matter? Shareholders already own their shares. The shorts still have to buy it back. The volume has been declining the last couple days. The shorts are trying every trick they can think of to get shareholders to part with their shares for cheap, but none of it has really worked so far. If volume does not go up dramatically, their position is not really changed.

what I've always tried to get across - let your money do the work for you. and keep in mind, the majority of what we do isn't "make 10 times your investment". I like steady good companies and dividend stocks. I also like meme stocks but it's a small part of my portfolio. Everyone is different. You might not make a million dollars on AMC you might not even make a dollar on it because you were tied up in some value stock. We probably over-emphasize some of our successes in this topic... but whatever it takes to motivate you to invest, that's great. Just don't FOMO.

That's all I wanted to do this summer. I was making an extra $300 a week and I kind of wanted to put some of it into something with slow growth. I missed my chance sadly.
