If I, say, sign up for internet service from Verizon that is $60/month with a free router, I should assume the monthly cost will NOT stay at 60 right? This is probably some kind of promotional/new customer price, and it will go away after a certain amount of months? The problem I'm having verifying this is is that on the verizon site there is nothing clarifying that this is a temporary price. If I were to take the site at its word, then the monthly price with the router would stay the same forever. --- |

So I guess Im already used to going to chrome, finding a password and copying it onto the app. LastPass sounds interesting if it does the same thing. --- |

| GANON1025 12/29/20 2:53:55 PM #17 | Steiner posted... the thing that annoys me is.. ok, i give up control to a password manager, no problem. log in to all my websites on my desktop, happy days. some time later, a mobile app needs to connect to facebook to authorize something and asks me to enter my facebook password - um, i've no idea? similar for amazon, paypal, any manner of things i may use on mobile. or even things i'm opening that just aren't in chrome - say i'm making an account for a game, then download the game and run it. I only used a password manager for under a month and encountered all these issues - god knows what i've not even thought of I was thinking about this very thing when people started mentioning the offline manager. If I need to enter a password on my phone, what then? I need to go to my pc to get to my manager to look it up? I mean Im assuming under the manager my passwords are too hard to memorize, since thats the whole point of it. --- |

| GANON1025 12/28/20 11:39:03 PM #1 | I understand that password managers are useful because you get to store all your passwords in one place, so you are then free to create more complicated passwords since you have a somewhat secure, central hub to see them. But, don't you need to create a password for the manager itself in the first place? So if someone guesses THAT password, isn't that even worse than before since now they'd have access to all your passwords at once? So instead of a manager, if you just used slight variations of the same password for every site you used (which is pretty bad to do), that still wouldn't be as bad in the event of someone getting hold of one of those passwords since there's at least a chance they wouldn't get the rest? --- |

| GANON1025 12/19/20 2:54:30 PM #104 | And, oh my god. I had what might the most frightening bug I've ever had. So I was playing 2077 late last night. I happen to pause the game to get up, and I start to hear this horrific-sounding laughter. It was a bit muffled, but it sounded like it was coming from right outside my house. It wasn't just laughter, it was like this weird teeth gnashing and other guttural noises, and he said "hello?" a couple times like he was addressing me. Needless to say, I was a bit spooked and decided to just stop playing the game leave the room. Now it just so happened that the laughing stopped when I shut the PS4 off, but I wasn't thinking much about it at the time... I sit down to play Cyberpunk today, and guess what?? The insane laughter was coming FROM THE GAME. So normally, for me at least, when the game is paused there is no sound. But for SOME reason, this guy's laughter STILL goes on in the pause screen. And it sounds super real. It's fucking crazy! --- |
