I just finished it, loved it a lot. At first the ending caught me by surprise and I thought it was abrupt, but after thinking on it a bit and talking to a friend, it makes sense to me.

Hopefully the biggie one in January helps a lot, especially for console players. The whole situation with this game and the state it's in is pretty lame, since it's really fun underneath all of it.

Yeah, it takes you back to right before the Point of No Return warning with a little bonus for each ending you do. Don't know about the other ones, but the one I did gave me a nice pistol.

I thought it was really damn good. I still haven't done all the side missions, and I didn't manage to snag the best ending, but there's a hefty amount of (quality) content to be done. I definitely like this game's main story more than Witcher 3's, they improved a lot on that front.

I'm playing on Switch, but it froze up on me once after I beat the third world's boss. I'm stuck on the fourth world's boss right now. I haven't really enjoyed any of the boss fights except world 3's, but this one is extra annoying.

Sounds like they have some things to iron out on both platforms, then. :(

With the bosses, they are a bit lackluster, but I'm enjoying the stages themselves a lot. I liked world 2's boss (the one with the glass and fans), I just wish it was more challenging.

Does anyone else have a crashing to desktop issue? It didn't at all until I got to the last stage of world 3 and it's done it twice now (once during the stage, once during the boss).

You guys keep posting great music. Was going to post Rat Boy's song, myself, but I was beaten to it lol. I'll post this one as another favorite. I bounce back and forth between Dirge, Body Heat, and 30 Principales.

I'm liking it a lot so far. It's p tough still and while the autorunning is... different, I'm still digging it. And it helps we got another pure platformer a few years ago in The End is Nigh tbh.

This is how I am so far, after doing the first world. Looking forward to what the rest do and trying out the different level versions.

How do you get through the hop over the high saw when you have the two giant saws waiting on the other side? I genuinely couldnt figure it out. I finished the rest of the levels in there fine.

You press down on the d-pad and Meat Boy should plummet down instead. I have a hunch you'll be utilizing that a lot to get the high scores to unlock Dark stages.

I played through the first world, it's pretty fun. It isn't hard in the slightest to get used to the new controls, still feels like SMB to me. You didn't even get through the second stage though, which is...next to nothing. :l

I don't have many hours in it this year lol. 50 hours in Smash, and over 100 in Story of Seasons (though this site isn't recording that since I bought it from an EU account).

Cyberpunk's soundtrack is phenomenal. I just wish the official soundtrack releases weren't so insanely damn skimpy.

It updated, but it's working out some kinks as usual lol

I feel ashamed I didn't even know the 2nd series was out, my childhood self is saying mean things about me.

Gonna have to get on that pronto at some point.

It's been a hell of a year and even then, it's easy to be swept up in other things and not think of stuff like tv shows. No biggie! It'll be there and waiting for you when you're ready. :D

3 books 3 seasons gonna be sad that next year will be its last

It's a bittersweet feeling for me, too. I'm also just plain excited for it, I never would have thought we'd get another adaptation after the Golden Compass movie. And here we are.

Haven't watched it. What's the consensus of quality compared to the books? Do the seasons correspond to each book?

Also, I really don't like the third book.

I think the consensus is overall pretty well received. Season 1 is more shaky, Lyra's actress takes a bit to settle into her role. Season 2 is way better and I want to say that Mrs. Coulter and Will are the standouts so far. The seasons correspond to the books though, yeah. Season 3 will be picking up where book 3 starts. The biggest difference is with season 1, Will is introduced early, but the way they did it makes a ton of sense for the TV show format and they pull it off well.

Second season is finished, even! Hopefully the final one is next year. I recommend the show, I've been loving that we get a good adaptation finally.

I already liked season 1 a good amount but damn, I really loved season 2. The very end was a bit odd when Will didn't end up meeting a certain duo, but maybe designs and voices aren't settled for them yet.

What are your guys' thoughts?

Also for the S2 finale, stay until after the credits. :o I hope season 3 gets renewed soon, it's going to be amazing.

Not really. There's been worse launch games than Cyberpunk. This just has a hell of a spotlight on it, way more upset customers, and CDPR's idiocy.

I'm playing on PC and loving it a lot, 30 hours in. Some minor bugs so far, no crashes, some brow-raising decisions I feel they'll fix for sure, but overall I love Night City, the main story, and how they've done side content and the world itself.

Dang, if you're not that into it, you can probably get the plush on its own for way cheaper. I'm personally really excited for it, I need something meatier and more like 3OT to sink my teeth into.

I think TC is annoyed at hypocrisy in the community. It's not hard to remember cases like AC: Unity getting raked through the coals (is that the expression?) for its launch bugs. Besides, people have been complaining for years now that Bethesda got an undeserved pass, especially around the 76 launch.

I personally don't think it's a big deal, but if you're the kind of person that gets stuck on the principle of things I get it.

Maybe it's poor luck on my part or something, not sure, but it doesn't feel like they're getting much of a pass. People are swooning over the game still, for sure, but the majority of things I've been seeing lately and especially since launch last night has pretty much been a shit show. Especially from console players.

I mean, those posts are the minority. And while bugs are 100% happening, not everyone is impacted the same, especially when it comes to PC gaming. Fallout and ES are buggy, too. Did those bugs impact my game when I played those? No. Doesn't mean they didn't exist, though.

If people are able to enjoy it who cares

Been playing this on PC Game Pass since yesterday, not far in, some of my guys are hitting level 10 now and I just finished that Blue Cave area. This game is really damn fun so far, with my only gripe being the map is incredibly bare and there were already some puzzles/treasures I left behind and I have no. Damn. Idea. Where they are lol. I figure best thing I can do is screenshot the map, mark where it is in image edit, but that's a ton of work especially once I get to doing multiple ones.

Cyberpunk is out in 20 minutes though, hopefully Monster Sanctuary won't get completely ignored. >_>

Last book I finished was Rhythm of War by Brandon Sanderson. One I'm currently reading now is The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie. Really digging it so far.

In North America, the game is $50 standard/$60 special edition, and it differs from the EU special edition.

It would be easier to buy at least, but that's even assuming Geofront does some extra work for them. I've heard it's a pain in the ass for a lot of people to buy from the official site.
