FFIV has a couple good ones - Within the Giant and Mt. Ordeals.

Devil's Lab from FFVI is great.

Reunion from FFVII is real good.

Compression of Time from FF8 is excellent.

As Leonhart said, Sunleth Waterscape would be my #1 if I counted it.

Yeah, you gain EMS playing ME1 and ME2 now. It's supposed to be pretty hard if you just play ME3 tho.

GF doesn't care nearly as much about CoD now as it did 10 years ago. No way Warzone gets in.

HLA will only get in if it gets ported to PSVR, which I'm skeptical about.

Hades and 13 Sentinels should get in I think. Hades will be pretty okay once it gets ported to PS4/5, definitely stronger than Bastion. 13 Sentinels will do alright as a low ranker with a lot of passion nominations if it never gets ported, but I think it will get ported eventually (all the recent Vanillaware games have gotten at least one port) and could be okay after that.

Not sure what I'd have after that. Cosmo Canyon? Oh right, the Ishgard music from FFXIV's also really damn good. One of the coolest parts is that it has four variations for whether you're in the wealthy or poor district and whether it's day or night. Gives some variety to a place you'll be spending a lot of time, but they still feel like the same theme.

FFVI is the best game in the series for character themes. Terra's Theme, Celes's Theme, Kefka's Theme, Rachel's Theme, all great stuff.

Aeris and Rikku are the main ones I like outside FFVI. More Aeris than Rikku.

The differences mostly feel like updates or expansions or reimaginings of stuff from the original. Even stuff like Aeris/Sephiroth/Cloud seeing visions of the future/alternate timelines isn't that crazy. The ghosts are the only things that feel like an outright change to me. The other changes all feel very "Final Fantasy VII, but updated" while the ghosts feel like "this is Kingdom Hearts now"

But again, the ghosts themselves are the biggest change. Most of the changes are alright, though taking out a bunch of the deaths kinda reduces the game's impact, it's just that the ghosts are never particularly interesting when they're there.

Well the ghosts undid it because that isn't what happened in the original... so they represent the fans who want the story to stay the same.

The ghosts didn't undo anything in the original, so they're the ones changing things.

the ghosts represent us tbh. Its clear after playing through the remake that they are diverging from FFVII at this point.

But...they don't. Barret dying was one of the most exciting scenes in the remake, and the ghosts undid it. If anything, they represent Nomura and his desire to Kingdom Hearts it up.

I've never had PS+ before, largely because I've never had a Sony console during its lifetime until now. Can someone please explain to me how these free games work? Do you only get them for the month, or do you get to keep them forever? Until you cancel your subscription?

You keep them as long as you have PS+. If you cancel and then resubscribe you get them again. You have to claim them to add them to your account, but you don't have to download them if you don't want to play them right now.
